My husband and I sat on the south side of the bar last Sunday(February 21 @~1:30pm). They only had one bartender and he was helping a few guest that were sitting on the north side and the west side of the bar. He was going back and forth between the guest on both the west and north side of the bar. My husband and I waited our turn. We then noticed that more people were arriving and forming a line on the west side of the bar. My husband and I continued to wait for our turn. Suddenly, the bartender helped the person in front of the line even though we were clearly there before that person. My husband and I thought maybe the bartender thought that person was there before us and we would be next. My husband and I continued to wait. But then the bartender helped the person after that and I spoke out: «Excuse me, can we get some service? We were here before everyone that is in line.» To which the bartender replied: «I’ve got to get the line down. I’ve said it many times before. I have to get my line down.» In the 15 minutes that we were there he never said anything about getting in line and there are no signs about forming a line to receive service. It’s suppose to be a «bar.» My husband and I wanted to end our resort stay with a few drinks but unfortunately this never happened.

Nice little pool side bar to go to after your full day at the parks! The bar closes at midnight. My brother and I would come back to the hotel by 11pm in time to sit back and have a few drinks. What is nice about going late is it’s all adults while all the kids are back at the room. There are two TVs just inside so it’s nice to sit at the bar and watch a game. They have about 6 beers on draft and are reasonably priced. They also have a full bar and other specialty drinks. The bartenders are very friendly and even take the time to have nice conversations with you. They even recognize you and remember you if you come back a few nights. The bartender Les was really nice and fun to talk to. He is great with his customers and even remembers what you like to drink. Nicola is also very friendly! If we come back and stay at All Star Movies again Silver Screen Spirits is a must stop!

Another plain Jane pool side bar but oh well I’m going to have a few drinks. Great spot to unwind and drink with friends. Service not to bad

Nice little bar at the Fantasia pool area of Disney’s All Star Movies Resort. Hubby and I each grabbed a drink our first night here and sat by the pool, enjoying the cool evening. It was late enough that all the kiddos were in bed, so we had a nice, relaxing time enjoying each other’s company. In my opinion, the drinks are strong, but I’m what you’d call a «light weight.» In hubby’s opinion, they had no alcohol in them at all. So, I guess if you’re like me, then one drink will zap you; however, if you’re more like my hubby who can throw back a six pack without a thought, then you’ll probably find the drinks a bit on the weak side. *shrug* There’s plenty of seating around the bar and the pool area; however, I do wish there were more seating at the actual bar itself. It was all filled up when we got there and it was actually difficult to find a space at the bar just to get a drink made and paid for. I also noticed there was only one other woman other than myself that particular night. All men at the bar with their eyes glued to the televisions. Must have been a sports game on; truth be told, I didn’t pay attention to the televisions. I do recall remarking to my husband I found it odd there weren’t more women out. I really assumed there would be more couples. At any rate, this is the place to get an adult beverage at the resort. Whether you’d like a nightcap, or something in your hand while you lounge around the pool during the day.

We finished up each of our nights at Disney World with a few drinks here at the Silver Screen Spirit Bar, right across from the Fantasia pool. It’s a great way to relax after a busy day of fun at the parks. There was always fun people to chat up while at there too… other couples grabbing night caps before hitting the sack, parents having quiet time while the kids splashed around the pools or napped, and the bartenders all gave that traditional Disney charm. I felt the drinks were consistently made just just strong enough, and for Disney standards pretty cheap too. After arriving and checking in on Sunday night we found two great seats at the bar with clear views of the TVs to watched the Super Bowl, with some snacks from the Food Court and well poured drinks(if I do say so myself). While watching the game we took a liking to the bartender, Nicola, she’s an extremely friendly English woman(don’t be surprised if you think you’re seeing her waiting tables at the Rose & Crown in the UK section of EPCOT, it’s actually her twin sister). Our intention was to head over to the Magic Kingdom, after the Super Bowl, to take advantage of their«Magic Hours.» But we were informed that the will call windows would be closed and we wouldn’t be able to get our tickets until morning. So we grabbed a few more drink at the bar, chatted up some people there, played a few games, and called it a night around midnight.
