Tommy Bahama’s Tropical Cafe

Our hotel was able to make reservations for us at this restaurant within the hour. International drive is pretty busy, so although the GPS said we were 7 minutes away, it took us 15 minutes to get there. Drop off your car at the valet, as the restaurant provides validation, you only need to tip the valet guy.
The menu looked so good, we couldn’t decide. So we decided to get a whole bunch of appetizers to share. We had their world famous coconut shrimp, chicken lollipops, dip duo, crab cakes, chicken tortilla soup, and mushroom flatbread. Everything was amazing, except we weren’t too fond of the cheese dip in the dip duo. The guac was tasty but nothing extraordinary. The favorite dish was the chicken lollipop! We ended it with the crème brûlée in the pineapple — yum yum yum!!! The service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
Update: almost forgot to mention their amazing bread with the yummiest butter we have tasted!

I needed a place for the Launch of the company I run in the United States! The plan was to have two cocktail parties at a cool; but convenient place during the week of our industry’s biggest tradeshow, Infocomm.
I wanted the place to have Excellent Food and a cool venue where my guests would truly be glad they decided to stop by and see us. We also needed to be able to demonstrate our home theater and office projection screens.
Tommy Bahamas hit a home run with their food and ambiance. We really loved it! There were always big crowds in the main restaurant, so those who came to our event; felt a little like they were in a larger party.
The staff helped us to get our event ready; working along side our group as we prepared the space for our party.
Ana Nelson and her colleagues at Tommy Bahama’s on International Drive in Orlando, FL were ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty. She worked her tail off; as did her associates and always had a great smile.
I rate my Launch party for Grandview Screen USA as TOP OF THE LINE! Quite Successful! and lots of fun!

We had dinner on the covered patio and it was so delicious! We started with the coconut shrimp and coconut encrusted crab cakes, both were fabulous! Our entrees were fantastic, the Ahi and the snapper. I will say my snapper was way better than the Ahi but it was still good. We had desserts as well, I personally loved the pineapple rum cake, it was light and yummy!!! Great place to have a nice family dinner!!! My kids enjoyed it as well!

The food was great. Big portions. They accommodated our party of 50 very well. The food came fast, and the prices were fair. The restaurant has a very cozy feel.

My experience was wonderful! The Oven Roasted Coldwater Cod served with goat cheese, risotto and yucca was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I was very impressed with the excellent service overall especially my waitress, Lindsay. Very friendly staff! Thank you.

FANTASTIC EVENING HAD BY ALL
It was the best night of our 5 nights in Orlando. Party of 29 sat in TB’s private dining room last Saturday night. Perfect size for our group. We were looked after by the Tommy Bahama staff very well. The food was delicious, the drink flowing and the atmosphere special. All the ingredients for a magical evening.
