From recent experience, I can definitely say that the owners need to train their employees in the meaning of customer service. Lynne is absolutely the most rude and unprofessional person at a business I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to… When you thank a person for their time and show appreciation even when they are being short with you… What kind of person hangs up on you?! She does.
Secondly, they really need to get their poop in a group when it comes to scheduling, because those workers are never there when they are supposed to be, and dispatch doesn’t seem to know what is happening.
Third, I don’t know the ins and outs of septic. But I do know that any business that provides a service should also be specific about that service and what it includes, and give options. For example, if it’s common practice to crush your old septic tank and bury it with the new one, you’d think it might be important to tell the customer, so that when it rains and the dirt settles and gigantic pieces of old septic tanks emerge, creating pockets and sink holes, the customer doesn’t freak out. Oh, and telling them that grading and sod are necessary to prevent that from happening in the first place might be kind of important!
They did such a crappy job filling over the new septic, leaving old busted pieces of PVC and not even attempting to clean it up… I could’ve done a better job with a freaking rake and shovel, blindfolded! And you know all of that would’ve been okay with me had they just given a half a crap about making it right, but instead I got the same rudeness that I now recognize as normal customer relations of Total Septic employees. Never again.

The company came to do a septic tank clean out and only removed the fluids. They didn’t clean out any of the main drain from the house and then they told me my drain field was dead. Had another company come and they did a complete clean out cleaned the drains from the house and the tank is draining nicely. Not dead. Not needing replacement or «rejuvenation». If you are going to use them, be sure to be there and watch the whole process. I will never use them again.
