Absolute worst company to work with. Got their job from Alliance movers, a supposed quality assurance company. Never told that the business was farmed out! Thought I was working with Alliance. When QA person, Mark, called a couple days prior to move, went over list, it wasn’t correct plus 8 added more. Then immediately they want you to electronically sign the contract. I never saw anything but the sign page. That was my ignorance. Plus then you find out only cash no credit card. The next call was from Unique movers to say when coming. First I heard of them. When they get there with revised work order that I didn’t see, stuff was missing. Cost me $ 3000 more. Then find out that the truck they loaded onto was NOT truck coming to Fla from Ohio. Being placed in storage. At that time, was told it could stay in storage free for 30 days. Found out my daughter was to have major surgery & I needed to go back home. Nobody would be at new house. Told them which day I was leaving. Move still wasn’t happening, so wanted to wait. But they started loading the truck. Once they do that, no free storage & it would be extreme cost. The witch on Alliance phone wouldn’t allow me speak with ANYONE. The Unique movers kept changing their story. Truck loaded for 4 days, but then supposedly had engine problems, but then story changed to driver problem & back to engine. I asked if they could just give me 2 weeks to get through surgery since they apparently couldn’t get their crap together. They denied.
This whole experience would have been better if I had dealt with Moffia!
NEVER USE ALLIANCE OR UNIQUE MOVING COMPANIES!
