Vans

Happened to be passing the store and saw they have a Disney line, so i decided to go in. I chose a couple styles of Vans for my toddler to try and asked an employee, Chisa, for assistance. She measured his feet and went to find his size. To my absolute surprise she came back with the shoes and proceeded to try them on him herself! I have never experienced someone so helpful; she really went above and beyond with that move. She even asked him to walk with her in them to ensure the right fit. She was very friendly and patient with him. I wasn’t sure going in if I was going to buy, but after such a great experience I was sold.
The store itself is well maintained and has a good selection of shoes along with clothing, accessories, and skateboards.

I love the Vans brand and shop here when I want to treat myself to something new on occasion. This store has great service every time I’ve been in. Casual, approachable associates that always approach me and find a way to make conversation. Nearly every time I shop they’ll promote something that on sale as we’ll– whether it’s a half off rack or a t shirt deal. It’s a smaller store, but clean and it has a pretty decent inventory as well. Fashion Square mall doesn’t have much that pulls me in, but this store does!

I really can’t even remember the last time I went to a mall just to shop. And not to be rude but especially this mall… it’s just real sad looking/​feeling.
Anyway, made my way in here yesterday with a friend who was shoe shopping. I have absolutely no intention of getting anything myself but we know how that works out. I walked out with 2 pairs of shoes and one of them happened to be from Vans!
I headed to the back and just looked at the Palisades, which are a bit different from the regular Vans. Since I wasn’t really looking, I didn’t try them on. However, I sat down while my friend tried shoes on and Stephanie, who works there, was folding shirts nearby and she said «have you tried them on before?» and I said no, but now I have to. Yep, that’s all it took. They are so friggin’ comfy! She was so laid back, not sales-​y in the least, just really wanted to know if I liked how they felt. After that we just chatted while my friend tried on and purchased other shoes. The gentleman working was also awesome. It was a really pleasant trip inside Vans and the mall. I really appreciate associates who work for a brand they love that don’t have to sell but just converse and make you interested!
What’s also worth noting about the shoes: canvas uppers & hemp removable, washable and comfy ultra cush footbed. Yeah, they rock!
