Green Planet Grocery

This place is amazing for how small it is. The wellness section is awesome. You’re sure to find those essentials you need! I love this place.

My co-​workers and I were heading to a Rite Aid when I noticed Green Planet below. I went in to look around and was so delighted — what a great natural foods/​products store!
For the small size of the store, it has a great selection of fresh and dry foods (including cocoa nibs!) as well as toiletries. I will admit, I spent most of my time in the toiletries section perusing all the Dr. Bronner’s items I’ve never seen before (lotions and shaving creams). If you’re a fan of Dr. Bronner’s get to this store NOW!
I was excited about the raw cocoa nibs because they are a hard item to find outside of traditional farmer’s markets. Even large chain natural food stores do not carry raw cocoa nibs, so finding them at Green Planet was a pleasant surprise. (Yes, I bought some.)
Another customer purchased a take-​away meal that looked very tasty and the checkout counter is full of organic chocolate. That makes this place almost perfect.
You never know what kind of places you will find when you visit a small town, and Green Planet Grocery is one of those small town surprises.
