Jade Palace is great. The atmosphere is pretty nice, and they have excellent service. The food is typical Chinese restaurant fare but they make it to order so it is fresh. The menu is fairly extensive and has plenty of options. They carry Tsing Tao beer which is pretty great.

Really wonderful. Not just Chinese food, an excellent meal done right. Big portions, attentive service, friendly and fresh, reasonable prices and a civilized atmosphere. Will definitely return and bring friends and family when in town.

This is what I expect from a Chinese restaurant, they charge a bit more than the other ones in Ottumwa but I guess they know their competition so it’s worth paying a little more for this place.

Excellent! So clean, friendly fast service. Ate here for dinner with a colleague on a business trip from Philadelphia. This is as good as any Chinese food we get in the city Spicy Szechuan tofu was delicious as was the honey chicken. Great place we will be back on our next trip.

Delicious! The veggies were all crisp and fresh. Crab Rangoon had the perfect cream cheese/​crab ratio. The tea was great and they have imported Asian beers. Also domestic if that’s more your thing. the menu was large with a nice selection of items. I’d recommend it to anyone, we’ll be back for sure.
