Hand & Foot Spa

Not Clean! I had an infection after getting a pedicure there! Beware!!!

This is the 4^th time I have «walked in» to Hand and Foot Spa and was told they can’t get me in. Its 1pm and she said I couldn’t get in till 4pm. TAKE YOUR «WALK INS WELCOME » sign down! You don’t except them.

This is my first time Unilocaling for a non-​restaurant. I don’t think I’ll do it often, but I figured I’d be the first to review The Hand & Foot Spa.
I was calling around KC trying to find any quality spa that would take in two same day pedicure appointments. The eighth place I called was The Hand & Foot Spa, which I had been to a few months before, but totally forgot about. As it turns out, people like to get married when it’s hot out and that means their nails better look presentable, so every place I called was booked, except for the Hand & Foot Spa.
This place is a bit pricier than expected, but probably because it’s located in south Overland Park. The pedicures are great: the calf massages are nice, and the techs clean up your nails nicely. The techs are also great in conversation: my close friend and I actually discussed nail technician/​cosmetology compensation with the women working on our nails in reference to the NYtimes expose on terrible abuses in the mani pedi industry.
I’d definitely come again, if I’m in town and whenever I save enough money to treat myself.
