Staff was busy training employees to help customers. While using self check out I was told I need to use regular register next time. Why have self check out if to only be told not to use it. Staff too busy with side jobs. I would recommend any other Walmart in area.

I have gotten to the point where I don’t shop at WalMart much any more and Hyvee is my grocery store of choice but in a world where most walmarts suck everytime I come in this one its not bad and by Wal Mart standards gets 4 stars. I guess its lowered expectations at work.

I usually despise Wal-Mart with a passion. I will go to the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market because it convenient and doesn’t feel like a Wal-Mart to me. However on this recent trip, I realized it will most likely be my last. The young woman checking me out was speaking to another young woman the whole time she scanned my items. she did not say one word to me, and what was even worse is that she was speaking to other woman in a different language. So I didn’t even know what they where saying. On top of that when I took my items she didn’t say thank you, have a nice day, or even go to hell. It was rude and I will expand my boycott of Wal-Mart to their Neighborhood Markets.

What the hell is this? I’m so confused by Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. It looks like a Lowes with pallets of crap everywhere, the floors are grainy with what you can only assume is mysterious sand, and the service is slow. Granted, I’m new to this place, and never even HEARD of a Wal-Mart MARKET(by itself, why?!) but I just won’t go back to this place, and it’s literally a block from my complex. Stopped and asked an employee if they had trash cans, since they had trash BAGS, and he stared at us for about 3 full minutes. We thought maybe he didn’t speak English so we aimlessly pointed and gesticulated until we felt like assholes. But he did speak English and told us to try the cat food isle. If that wasn’t enough, they have about three checkers and they are so slow it’s almost incredible. Are these people all high? Are there horse tranquilizers being supplied somewhere I don’t know about? Why does this place exist! It’s all very cumbersome.

Am I really writing a review for Walmart??? I guess so. This Walmart, like all Walmarts, is a zoo. I’m not sure if it is open 24 – 7, but it is always open when I need it to be. First off, the only time I even think about eating at Subway is when I walk into Walmart and smell the delicious scent of fresh baked bread. It really sets the mood. Anyway, for several reasons, I am not a huge fan of shopping at Walmart. I come here for random things like sunscreen or razors, but the main reason I shop here is for Old Roy dog food. If you are not familiar, Old Roy is probably the lowest end dog food($ 15.00 for a 40 lb bag) that you could possibly purchase. I am the happy(frazzeled) owner of two five year old labs. At 87 and 108 pounds, respectively, they love to eat, and they don’t seem to care that I buy them low end dog food. Actually, I started out buying them a better brand, a brand that I felt good about, and could also afford, but just barely. They eat a lot, remember? Anyway, one day I was innocently sitting on my deck drinking a glass of wine and playing fetch with my doggies. Suddenly, Stacia, my beautiful, no-so-delicate yellow lab leapt at a squirrel and caught it. She then proceeded to eat its head. After that, she brought me the decapitated squirrel’s body and dropped it at my feet. It was that exact moment when I decided to stop buying higher end dog food.
