Wait time for an appointment is extremely high. I’m nearly always am seen by an RN or PA (not sure). Don’t think I’ve seen the doctor more than once since I was a new patient. They’ll keep you waiting for an hour, but if you miss an appointment there’s a charge. I asked them to re-​mail a document I didn’t receive and was denied because postage costs money. I then got a snarky comment about personal responsibility because I couldn’t find the first one they sent. I asked if they could put the cost of the stamp on my account and was told no. I told them this was ridiculous and that I would be looking for a new doctor. A few days later I received a certified letter (which costs a lot more than postage) telling me that they couldn’t be my provider any longer because I spoke inappropriately with their staff and wasn’t compliant! Just absurd. You can do better and should look elsewhere!

I’ve been a patient here for over 6 years. But for the last 4 times, I’ve gone here I’ve been disappointed by their service. I usually come arrive to my appointment 15 mins early, I still end up waiting over an hour. I’m not sure, how they are scheduling their patients. Not only do I have to wait, there’s also a few others before me that’s been waiting for over an hour. Because there’s always a waiting list to schedule an appointment, I can’t risk to miss my appointment and get charge $ 25 for being late fee & I don’t want to have to wait another month to reschedule. This place can charge you for being late but what about having to make you wait for hours?! I don’t understand that logic. Be aware of this doctor’s office! If you have lots of time during your day to just wait around, then this is the doctor for you! Expect at least to never be seen on time for your appointment & to wait in the waiting area for an hour & probably another 30 mins inside the rooms.

I would never say that I «enjoy» going to the doctor, but the staff at Central Florida Family Medicine definitely make the experience a much better one!
Nancy at the front desk is super friendly and always has a smile on her face.
Dr. Coupland really takes her time with each patient — she’s thorough, listens and discusses everything, and never rushes. It’s great because you feel important, not just another «ticket at the deli counter,» but it makes the wait longer than you want, especially when you’re sick and don’t feel well.
Gretchen and Pam are both Nurse Practitioners and whom I normally see. I see Gretchen more than Pam, but I honestly love them both! They are younger, energetic, personable, and treat you like a person, not just a patient.
If you are looking for a new general practitioner and are in the area, I’d HIGHLY recommend this office! I’ve converted my whole family and several of my friends and they are thrilled with them too!
