Good Mexican at any time. We usually go as a family. Good and fast. Good salsa and chips. Kids always get a burger.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. We absolutely love El Tequila. We go there at least once/​month. The food is consistently good. Great tequlla selection. The owner and staff couldn’t be nicer. Highly recommend it to anyone.

I am completely flabbergasted by these other reviews. I can say that, without a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants in Southern Minnesota. I have never had anything but amazing food and service. The chips and salsa they have there are perfect every time.
I have managed multiple restaurants, and lived in many towns and yet I always compare any Mexican food I taste to that of El Tequila and nothing comes close. I’m new to Unilocal,but i don’t know how much weight I will ever put on any reviews here based on the incredible travesty that is this horrible rating for such an amazing place.

I love this place. Great enchiladas, fajitas, beans, rice, and tamales. Everything is good. This is authentic. Friends from Mexico love this place. I’ve eaten at this one and the one in Waseca at least 50 times. Moved to NJ, visiting Minnesota now, and can’t wait to go today!

Yeah, not a big fan. Mind you, I wouldn’t have expected great Mexican food in the middle of Minnesota, but I was hoping to be surprised. Nothing really stands out as bad either, but the food was just not all that.

Went here with a group, they were very accommodating but it just isn’t very big. Food was decent but I felt overpriced. Great drink specials here however. Wednesday is happy hour all day (two for one margaritas) good for a quick bite or lunch in my opinion.
