Riverview Campground

We absolutely loved this campground! Bonus that it’s a quick drive from the cities, and affordable fun for the family! The grounds were beautifully landscaped, each campsite had electric and water hookups, and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Our kids LOVED the pool and mini golf! A seasonal resident happened to host a pig roast dinner for all the guests the weekend we stayed, and it was by far the best pulled pork I have ever eaten in my life! They also put on a bean bag toss tournament for the kids, a tractor pulled choo choo ride for the little ones, and a snack activity where the kids built a robot out of a juice box, pudding, apple sauce, and Smarties. They sell ice and campfire wood on site for very reasonable prices. And if you forgot anything, Hy Vee is just a couple miles away. Just an all around fun and inexpensive getaway! We certainly will go again!
