My husband and I spend an embarrassing amount of time at Lowe’s, being new homeowners and all. We buy all of our paint here, and materials that we use for home remodels. We paid for Lowe’s to lay hardwood floors in our home and they did an excellent job. The floors are BEAUTIFUL!
The only reason for the 4-star review is due to some employees. Most that we run into have great attitudes and are friendly and quick about their jobs. However, the paint department is very slow, as if you’re inconveniencing them to ask for paint to be mixed or to even ask a question. Otherwise, keep it up, Lowe’s!

I went to Lowe’s with a friend to buy paint for her new home. We waited for several minutes while the employee waited on a customer. We were next in line. Another customer interrupted asking for help when the guy was done. Instead of waiting on us next, the employee went off to help that guy! It took nearly 45 minutes to get our paint. When she started using the paint, she discovered it is several shades lighter than the paint chip. Lowe’s needs to train their paint department employees in customer service and how to mix paint correctly. We’ll be buying our paint elsewhere from now on.
I gave two stars because the other store employees were very nice and efficient.
