Valvoline Instant Oil Change

If you want good service, DON’T GO THERE!!! I spent $ 89 on the Max Life oil change and two wipers, asked if the oil change included checking fluids and hoses and all that, and they said yes. They stood around talking, laughing, and drinking sodas, and I was out in about 5 – 7 minutes, just as soon as one of them had finished his hard-​sell attempt to sell me a list of services I didn’t need or ask for, same as he did to the guy that came in right behind me. I knew that was awfully fast to have done all they had listed on the invoice! A few days later after I mentioned to my ex-​husband that my car still keeps making a burnt antifreeze smell and was making clicking noises, he looked under the hood. The power steering fluid jug was almost completely empty, the antifreeze/​coolant overflow was completely empty, and the washer fluid was very low, (I had not used it since the oil change.) I was FURIOUS! I doubt they even changed my oil or gave me any «special» oil with additive, either! These idiots DO NOT DO THEIR JOBS, at least not in my case! They just get their money and send you on your way! I will never go there again!!!
I am so tired of getting ripped off by lazy employees who might die if they actually liftted a finger to do what they get paid for!!! Last summer, I paid over $ 100 for them to check my a/​c, as it was blowing hot air. They put in freeon, and it was fine the few times I drove it the rest of the summer. By this spring, it was back to blowing hot air. I called to complain. He said it could have a leak or bad compressor. I said they were supposed to check it, that’s what I PAID for. He said they are not mechanics, I’d have to take it elsewhere for that. Then why was I charged so much just for freeon??? They had also «serviced it» with an oil change, and it had been making the burnt antifreeze smell, which I found out later was most likely because the overflow was empty! I would love to shove my foot up where the sun doesn’t shine, but why ruin a good pair of shoes? I already wasted way too much money on them! Their karma will get them for me! When I called to complain about them not even checking my fluids and that several were low and empty, the idiot on the phone just kept mumbling so bad I couldn’t understand him, and didn’t know what to say, just,“Hmmm, that’s weird.” Finally offered $ 10 off the next oil change, and I said, «Are you out of your MIND? There won’t BE a next one!!! I will NEVER go there again! I will find somewhere reputable that knows their butt from a hole in the ground!!»
Don’t go to Walmart, either! About two years ago, my tail-​lights had been out for a few days, I went in to get a safety check and oil, and they checked that my tail-​lights were fine, when they were both out! They didn’t even bother to check! Recently, I gave them another chance and took my car there because two tires kept loosing air. They said nail in one, the other leaking air near the rim, & they supposedly fixed them. A few days later, I noticed one of the two was low again. Took it back. Nail, they said. Yeah, right. What are the odds, that soon after first one, same tire? They just didn’t do it right the first time! Every time I have been there, they make me wait over an hour before they even look at it. Once, almost two hours! Never again! Learned my lesson!
Seems like no one can be trusted these days to do their jobs! They are too busy standing around with their heads up their butts, waiting to clock out so they can play their stupid video games, watch sports, and fill their beer-​bellies with more Bud! Whatever happened to honesty, integrity, professionalism, and customer service??? Pathetic!!! Grow up and do your dang jobs, people, or you will eventually lose them to people that WILL! Why do employers put up with employees that are not going to bring in return business? Makes me sick, all the hard-​working people that are out of work because of the economy, while these good-​for-​nothing goof-​offs draw a paycheck every week!
