Queens Nails

The level of unprofessionalism that is displayed in this salon is outrageous. I’ve never had a problem until the last 2 times I’ve gone here.
1. I kept telling my friend, who lives in Fredrick, about how wonderful this place was. One evening she made the hr drive for a girls night of pampering. When we got there around 6pm, it was a few people there, the wait wasnt long. What i found odd was the looks the nail «artists» kept giving my friend who is Spanish by the way. We pay it no mind and continued talking. They call her 1^st bc she was getting a pedicure. Moments later a chair opened up for my full set.
25 mins later she pays and tips the lady with cash then comes and sits next to me as my nails were dying. Moments later the owner comes up to her and tells her she needs to pay more. She asks why, but they wouldn’t give her a answer. They huddle in the back talking and come back and demands more money. I interject and immediately begin questioning why would they wait until after she already paid and tipped to add more money. Long story short she advised them to take it out of the tip she left. They then told us to leave. Lol…
2^nd horrible experience on 12/​18/​2015
I go in to get a full set about 1030 am. There were only 2 workers who both had clients. Abt 11:15 a third lady comes and starts my nails she immediately tells me it’s going to be $ 30, i said ok although I’ve never paid that much for a full set. When I tell you it took her almost 2 hours for an acrylic set that didn’t look anything line I asked, I was pissed. To start with she was using the wrong brushes. Gel was everywhere, her body language was if she was hung over. Then the file she used, kept cutting my skin. I wanted rounded nails, she made them square. I want going to complain bc o was ready to get the hell out of the chair.
What pissed me off even more is that during the 2 hours she mentioned the $ 30 price about 4 times. When I give her my card she hours is going to be $ 35, I said no you said $ 30. She then goes it’s more bc of the length… I’m looking at her dumbfounded bc the nails are short. After that I was just so annoyed. I didn’t even let my nails dry fully.
I’M NEVER GOING BACK HERE

The only person in Maryland that can do my eyebrows is the owner! She takes the time to listen and FOLLOW my instructions for shaping my brows. Their pedicures are pretty good (anyone completes). I’m not into manicures. No one listens to what I want. I’m kinda OCD when it comes to the fingernails.

Awful! Rude! No professional courtesy!!! I asked a question about a service offered and the technician fanned her hand and said never mind. She had a scowl on her face like she didn’t really enjoy what she was doing and no one corrected her except me. It really left me wondering why I even paid, but I didn’t want to go to jail and apparently good customer service is not a requirement! Don’t go there, take your hard earned money and treat yourself elsewhere!

Very rude service. My second experience here. Nail technicians act like they are doing you a favor by doing your nails. I work hard for my money. No time for rude service when I am patronizing your business. Period.
