This farmers market runs May-October on Saturdays 7−11am and Wednesdays 8am-1pm. It’s located in a parking lot. After a late night in the Square, I wanted to check out the fresh produce for sale and live entertainment, but arrived as it was closing. Some say that’s a great time to check out what’s left and negotiate prices! But really, the stalls were all closing up as I arrived. I saw some tomatoes and flowers for sale. Missed the musicians, unfortunately. Early bird gets the worm!

Open from mid-Apr through end of Oct., located in parking lot for Midtown Shopping Center, near Southern Star Yoga. Got some nice arugula, tomatoes, squash, shiitake($ 3.50/0.25lb, or sometimes on special for $ 6/0.5lb), mustard greens($ 2/bunch), eggplant, red bell peppers(3/$ 1), strawberry-fig jam here($ 6.50/pint). They have musicians too. Other items spotted: honey, eggs($ 3.75/doz), baby daikon, baby mustard salad greens, cucumbers.
