Shady is the name of the game. This company is so elusive from its disgruntled customers that it changed its name. We overpaid for tents and ice and in return, we received no ice that I’m aware of. Also for some reason their tents attract deceptive women that break into coolers and steal liquor. There is no shortage of advertising which is confusing to me because I feel like their working capital would be better spent on ice, music speakers, security guards, Mountain Dew machines, or a southwestern style buffet. The group that runs it is a shady bunch run by their ringleader, a fellow named Shockey. The word on the street is that he doesn’t always pay his employees and runs some other scams involving 3 – 4 team fantasy football leagues. It is a complete mystery to me what these men spend their profit on, my guess would be formulating some kind of energy drink to run some kind of elaborate Ponzi scheme to trick entrepreneurial young guidos into giving them more money to fund whatever lucrative smug habits they attend to. Perhaps more troubling is that past leadership has subjected themselves to similar complaints. They use the company tilt to collect their funds which anybody with a brain knows requires no accountability or transparency in the use of. Which leads to a question that I would like to end my review on. Is the existence of this company an indictment on the character of this business for incompetency and indifference to their clients or is it an indictment of the consumers that are so easily tricked into their business dealings as a hen running into a fox’s den? I say both. The ineptitude of this company is rivaled by the unacceptable stupidity of their clients. As long as the hen exists, the fox shall also exist to hunt and take advantage of it. Two stars.
