I’ve visited this location before and the service wasn’t bad at all. No issues, however tonight was horrible. Not horrible in respect to the servers, or cleanliness of the restaurant but simply the short order cook was terrible. We ordered our food prior to the rush, but for some reason our orders (that actually came out) were slow and not complete. In addition we only received two or 7 orders over the course of 60 minutes. After asking for the manager (who never came to the table), we were fed up. I don’t think I will visit this location again.

I come to different I hop places all the time… Today was the worst it has been.
I only gave it two stars because I like the restaurant vibe & I liked my food.
I had a rude server that could not count change correctly and did not give my brother his receipt.
He gave a $ 50 bill for his $ 16 food. She came back with 24.
He had tried nicely to talk to her but she made the rude remark of «do the math».
Lol. It was funny because we did & we are both extremely good in math to make such a mistake.
So I went to the manager, got our change back & now we will never come back. The name of the server is Kiana. If you hear the name. Be careful of not getting your money & receipt back.

This was my first visit to IHOP in a LONG time. Despite being in not the best looking neighborhood, this IHOP was clean and the service was fine. The menu is interesting, as it seems they take every combination of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and hash browns and make a combination. There are SO MANY combos on the menu that look the exact same. Nevertheless, my food was okay. I’m sure about the same as any other IHOP. What was impressive was my Strawberry Splash drink. It was VERY good. Whatever you decide to get, order the Strawberry Splash.

Wow, ihops food has really gone down. I’m not one of those people with over the top expectations for inexpensive food, but seriously the meal I had yesterday tasted absolutely like it came out of a hospital cafeteria.
It was my kids suggestion to go there, so we went in the evening. The place was relatively empty, but it took a while for anyone to realize that we were waiting to be seated. Once we were greeted the waitress was very polite and we were served fast. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with pancakes and hot chocolate. The omelette was extremely dry and void of any taste. The pancakes were the same. Even the hot chocolate was bad, tasted like they used Swiss Miss. My sons seemed to enjoy their meals though, so all is not lost.
I considered ihop to be a breakfast establishment staple growing up, but after yesterday’s experience I will really think twice about going there again.

Clean place and good service. The only thing that was regretful was after I left my server a 20% tip I drove off and saw a sign that kids eat free with paying adult. She didn’t give my family of four the discount. Called to confirm and was told she had been working for a while so it probably wasn’t a mistake… Yesenia was a great server but I felt a little cheated

Didn’t think as poorly of this IHOP as some other folks did, maybe I was lucky.
Came here with a group of 12 including a handicapped person on a busy saturday morning, and we were taken care of pretty well. Except for the short wait in the front area which smelled like stank butt, getting a table went smoothly.
Our waitress was scarce at times, but it was busy and I know all the waitresses were doing their best. I ordered the split decision combo: 2 halves of french toast, 2 pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, mmm mmm everything was delicious. Had to use restraint to not eat all of it. And all that for like 9bucks? Can’t complain.
I don’t frequent IHOPs but this one didn’t disappoint

There’s really nothing to say. My appetizer (chicken wings) were delicious and came out hot and fast. I ordered the bananas foster brioche french toast with home fries, egg, and bacon. Our waitress brought me hash browns but graciously took the plate back to get home fries which came back hot along with my bacon and egg. The only issue I had was that my French toast was room temp. Other than that, I can’t complain. Everything was good and the service was excellent;

Probably the worst IHOP I’ve been to. Not a fan of the chain in general, and there aren’t many restaurants in this area. This is one reason they need to step their game up. The whole experience was bizarre. Instead of asking for your name at the hostess stand, they give you a piece of paper that has the name of a celebrity… Beyonce, Jay Z, Snoop, etc… It was just weird and sort of unprofessional in my opinion. The food was bland and nasty. I won’t be returning.

I’m not one to look for the negative in any venue and found this venue to take things to another level. My visit was a POOR representation of the IHOP brand and someone needs to address this immediately. This area is changing at a rapid pace and with visitors from around the world you would want to show place your best! A major overhaul is needed from top to bottom to redirect the brand in this location. The one thing I don’t understand is how you can have cold pancakes from IHOP during any visit? I will say nothing more than I’m sure I will visit some time down the road to see if changes were made. In the mean time you are on your own visiting this venue… Period!

I went to IHOP for dinner last Sunday the manager waited on us his name was Carlos or Carlos do not know what he was doing this was the worst experience I’ve had at IHOP in Oxon Hill that place was horrible the food was disgusting he charge my credit card twice he got my order of my food wrong someone please help this place experience I have before it gets all I have some bad reputation this place is not worthy to go and even have pancakes where is the manager of the store while the people that’s all that this store to allow this behavior from their service and that manages to go on like this I’m very unhappy customer

Been so many ihops this is the worse ihops we been order sirloin dinner got a cold pasty soup my husband pancakes are half way done no spoon for my soup or steak knife for sirloin server has not attentive at all for the guest needs talk my concern to a duty manager not even an apology what so ever

I loved this IHOP. I originally wanted to go to the one in Alexandria, VA but my BFF mentioned this one. I’m going to admit I was highly skeptical… the area is a little bit rough for this southern girl.
Well I had zero issues. The hostess was friendly, albeit robotic. The bathrooms were clean… Super plus! Inside the restaurant was also clean as well. Our orders came out in less than 15 minutes; the waitress was also really nice and responsive to our few requests. She definitely deserved her tip.
Venues can rarely receive five star ratings but on this day this spot hit all the marks! I would definitely recommend and return.

The Guy and I love breakfast food, so Ihop is right up our alley! He had some business in the area and we decided to head in for some of those famous pancakes! We were seated right away by and our server was a nice young man who was very friendly! He even gave us a tip about ordering their eggs! He said, always ask for real eggs because if not, they use the egg mixture out of the carton! LOL! Good to know! So all in all, we had a pleasant experience, minus the old lady sitting near us who keep staring at us! Sheesh! But they would never effect my review of this location! Definitely a good spot with good customer service!

Called in our breakfast order to a man that said he was the manager, Levonte or Dyonte. He was nice on the phone and told me our order would be ready in 10 minutes. When my husband arrived 15 minutes later, no one could find our order. A woman at the cashier’s desk was totally clueless and told my husband that she couldn’t fine the order. I called back in to speak with the man I placed the order with, and he was rude to me. he told me the food was there all along waiting for me to pick it up. All the while my husband had been sitting in the waiting area for 20 minutes by then. He called my husband by name and then threw the food at him. It is the worst level of service that we’ve ever encountered. We will never eat there again, and do not recommend anyone else does either.

My experiences here teeter back and forth between terrible and okay depending on which time and day of the week I go. There is nothing stellar or spectacular about this IHOP – particularly when it comes to the service. I have had waiters that are either nice enough or downright ornery. Pleasant doesn’t seem to exist. But thats okay because I don’t expect much anyway. When I do patron this spot, it’s simply because someone else in my party wanted to come here. As far as IHOPs go, I’m not really a fan period. But I much prefer the one on Branch Avenue. It seems a bit more quiet and tucked away. And the waitresses/waiters are nicer.
