They are very cute nice, but will say the food was just okay. The eggs seemed to be premade, not fresh… I can get that weird egg patty at Starbucks. Safer at the Starbucks

So the choices are this place or Starbucks. I hate Starbucks but I’m going to recommend it in this instance. The Harbor Café has an extensive menu. The customer service is beyond terrible. The lady at the register couldn’t care less about you and just was not friendly. I ordered the café con leche. Not enough café and too much leche even though I asked for less leche. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Starbucks.

Terrible customer service. There was a very rude lady that absolutely did nothing to help another cashier while a line of 6 people formed. She just sat around and looked bored and angry while the other cashier was struggling. When customers asked her questions, she just grunted and pointed to the other cashier. Will never come back here again.

Definitely a good place! Tasty empanadas, delicious coffee, and low prices. Very cool alternative in national harbor area.

Best coffee option in National Harbor with a little twinge of a local shop. There are comfy seating options, some table/chairs and a couch/armchairs. The coffee was good. Not amazing, not terrible. A solid a-okay. Iced, hot, standard drip coffee or a few specialty drink options. If you’re staying in the area for a convention or meeting and don’t have time or desire to drive somewhere, this is your best bet.

Basic café with breakfast and lunch sandwiches, some pastries and coffee. Good café con leche. The spinach melt in pita bread was good and light, but not filling. I was told that the smoothies are not made with mostly whole fruit — so I did not order one — it’s mainly flavoring and sugar. There are tables and sofas inside and places to sit outdoor as well.

Looking for a local coffee shop that doesn’t charge high prices? This is the place for you. Yes, there is a Starbucks here, but that’s a run of the mill location and you can find them everywhere. If you’re a coffee lover that enjoys lattes, cappuccino and café con leche, then you’ll love this place. It reminds me a lot of little coffee shops down in Puerto Rico. They have a HUGE option for coffee, and some very delicious breakfast sandwiches. I also tried their oatmeal raisin cookie, and it was the right balance of ginger and cinnamon. So take a pleasant walk down to this coffee shop(carmel café con leche is my jam!) And enjoy a freshly made coffee.

Non organization whatsoever behind the bar for sandwiches. No one seems to know what is going on and there is nowhere to stand while waiting. The people after us have all gotten their sandwiches and we are still waiting. It’s been twenty minutes since we ordered. This area needs a pavers it legit bagel shop. Skip this place.

Found this spot to grab a quick bite before heading back on the road to NY for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised. Surrounded by shops and restaurants geared mainly toward the regulars, Harbor Café doesn’t care if you’re local or not, they still greet you with a smile. Plus their coffee is at the top of its game. Their mocha latte hit the spot without being pricey or overly sweet. Egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich on a croissant was amazing! Have fun with this little gem, it was worth the quick walk.

Great little local coffee and sandwich shop. Great for breakfast on the run or a quick bite for lunch. The bacon egg and cheese croissant is a must.

Great sandwiches and very friendly staff!!! I live here and today was the first time I tried there lamb gyro and the hubby tried the chicken cheese steak with jalapeño boy on pita bread. We both were surprised by how good the sandwiches tasted, only because we anticipated that it would be like a prepackaged microwave sandwich. They had a selection of toppings to accommodate different needs: hummus, jalapeños, yogurt sauce, etc. Very Reasonably priced.

Hmm, bit disappointed by all the Unilocal reviews here. I checked out this place while on a business trip due to all the good reviews and stopped by. Overall, just thought their food and coffee was meh. While the customer service was very good, the ambience was a bit lacking and the breakfast sandwiches were not what they were hyped up to be. Unfortunately, if you’re looking for an early breakfast, it’s one of the few options actually OPEN if you’re staying at the Gaylord!

This place has delicious chi lattes and vanilla lattes. The breakfast sandwiches were made fresh. The fact that they have an egg white option was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price was right.

BEST breakfast sandwiches!!! I don’t know what type of magic Kim puts into these things when she makes them but they are delicious! Next to starbucks, but that means nothing because the service and quality of coffee trumps the big guys any day. Definitely returning soon.

So I wanted coffee and the sign said closes at 7pm and I had heard that this place was good. I got to this new place at 6:51 and they were closed even though the sign said 7pm .I was very sad that my coffee dreams were not fulfilled. :(

Are you looking for a «home’ like atmosphere? If so Harbor Coffee is where you want to visit. The Owners, Kim & Vijay have made us feel like family from day one! She has an awesome staff of young people who always greet us with a warm welcome. The menu is expanding and we are enjoying all the new things that have been added. I wish this continued success at the National Harbor!

We come to National Harbor once a year. My main goal coming to this café is always the Mayorga coffee but I also love the service here. This café is family run and has very nice employees. Was able to get an actual healthy breakfast smoothie with kale and pineapple. Will have to try one of their empanadas next time! Try this place for great coffee, friendly service and good food!

Fantastic service! I was staying at the Gaylord hotel for a conference. A group of us dropped into Harbor Café to get coffee for our team of 15. The owners were extremely helpful, accommodated our needs, then drove is to back to the hotel. We will spend a lot of time and money at Harbor Café this week. Thank you for delighting us! OH — the coffee was fantastic!

Out for a morning walk and saw the chalkboard outside with smoothies listed on it. I hate when you follow the smoothie sign and it turns out to be sugar and just fruit flavored syrup but Harbor Café uses real fruit. I got mango banana. It was very sweet(my daughter even liked it) but tasted better than the drink mixes you usually get. And the menu has lots of choices for cold drinks. One of them uses rice and a spice blend – I’m intrigued. I noticed they have egg sandwiches on croissant and pastries. And we’re going to try to come back for lunch – they have empanadas! I haven’t had those since Venezuela, 16 years ago. Hours are 6 am to 6 pm most days and staff seems very friendly. Only improvements for me: add some spinach or kale to the smoothie. But I don’t know how much of a market there is for high nutrition drinks here. Also wish they had waffles or pancakes, for my kids. Just an idea!

Do NOT try to go to this shop 15 minutes before closing. They will ring you up but tell you you cannot stay to drink your beverage.(How rude!!) At 10 minutes to close, they stop taking orders altogether. I went there on a Saturday night and was greeted by a guy who seemed particularly focused on getting on with the rest of his evening. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The iced coffee is terrific. That’s all I had, so that’s all I can say about the coffee. The staff was indifferent, and the counter with sugar and straws could have used a clean-up. I took my coffee to go, so that wasn’t an issue for me. They have horchata on the menu; if I hadn’t been in desperate need of a cold beverage with caffeine in it, I would have given it a try. I guess that I’ll have to go back.

Sweet, family owned coffee shop. Stopped here before the Color Run began and grabbed a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate along with a turkey sausage/egg/cheese/crossiant biscuit. The sandwiches were pre-made but they are heated when ordered. Thought skeptical, it actually didn’t taste bad. The cherry on top was the hot chocolate options. Though not listed, they offered dark chocolate, white chocolate, toasted marshmallow and some others I’m sure but before the cashier could continue I stopped her at marshmallows. It has the coffee shop basics, with a mini bar side(no liquor I believe) with bar seating and TV. Overall, I’m grateful for this place. Other big shot stores weren’t open, but Harbor Coffee knew us runners needed fuel and somewhere to pee before the race… Just keeping it real lol
