I thought it was me! Yes, everyone in the store is rude and with zero personality. But it is a good place to sell unwanted furniture and stuff.

The owners are extremely rude and dismissive. They are clearly not interested in their customers and act like they don’t have the time nor inclination to help you with a purchase. Oyster Bay is a small town and it pays to keep your local customers happy. Ive left there twice recently after being treated so badly and won’t ever go back.

These people are rude and unhelpful. I emailed them saying my mother lives alone and needs help selling furniture and can they please give her as much help and advice as possible. She called me and said they came, said no to all the furniture, gave no advice, spent barely 5 minutes in our house, and left. We have some really nice furniture in our house and I’m sure they could have helped her more, even if it wasn’t their style! Do not use these people!

Don’t use this store! They are aggravating and condescending. Instead of being glad to sell your furniture as that is their profession, they act like they are doing you a favor by selling your furniture. I spoke to them first by phone and sent them pictures of the furniture I was interested in selling. Then, they came to my house to inspect my furniture and told me which pieces they were going to take. Finally, when they came to my house to take the furniture they took only the small items that they could carry easily and not the large items that they said they would take that I was interested in getting rid of! When I called to complain, they said that they could not take the larger items because they were scratched. Was that not why they came to my house to personally inspect the items and agree which ones they were supposed to take? I made them return the small items as I am sure I could do better myself. What a waste of time!
