Alvin’s Island

Cute stuff. Reasonable prices. Lots of options. What you would expect from a beach shop.

Yeah they had some cute stuff but it’s a total rip off. All this made in china stuff I bought already seems like it’s near death in one wear.

Store is great has a lot of variety, but I gave two stars because the cashiers are rude don’t even say hi or thank you I had to speak for her for her to say hello. Need friendly staff!!!

Went in for a «forgotten necessity» for the beach. We quickly located it and went on our way. We did pause to look at the extensive selection of shirts and other clothing available at a reasonable prices for beach front. Some were available without the PCB tag on it too. There are as many of these here as convenience stores so just choose the one closest to you and pick your souvenir. Some stuff is cheap and cheesy but you are in the midst of tourist Mecca here…

You know what! You can’t get me to turn down going to Alvin’s island. I love the place. As cliché as is can be, I still love it. They really have some cute clothes in here too, all of them do. I can stay in here for hours, but only when it’s raining or evenings! Don’t want to miss beach time!

Came here to buy souvenirs before we left PCB and this place is GREAT. Just has about everything PCB souvenir you can think of. Shirts, tanks, hoodies, knick knacks were decently priced and bought a lot of great stuff here. Whole family (about 6 of us) probably spent about over $ 100 here and we got a lot of good stuff.
HOWEVER, some of the cashier and the sales that work here are the RUDEST, MOST UNHELPFUL people. Whenever we asked questions or for help, the 2 blonde girls didn’t give 2 $h1ts. My dad asked a question and the cashier got mad as hell that he was asking her, rolled her eyes and gave us the most nasty attitude. Airbrush guy and the other employees were cool and very helpful, but those 2 girls need to be fired. For the how much we paid, we could have at least gotten decent customer service.

a very neat store. I like to go and look at the flip flops and the other sandals. (Sanuks) They have alot of neat stuff aswell. Always a good place to go just to look.

Time and the economy have not been kind to Alvin’s Island. I have fond memories of this place going back many years. Now the store seems half full, the alligator barely has any water and the volcano is a lawsuit waiting to happen with burned our lights and ripped open doors.
If this wasn’t such a local legend of a store and if this had been my first trip I would have given this a 1 star.

This is tourist junk heaven and you will love it. Miles of souvenirs with Panama City Beach on them. Tee-​shirts, shot-​glasses, key-​chains, blah, blah, blah… just go. You know you need to take a box of this junk home to give friends and family. Forget all the rest of the tourist traps and give in to the biggest and the best.
