Telfair Ave Elementary School

Telfair Elementary is a very big school and you notice this when you have to walk from one side to the other side. The staff parking lots are small and there is plenty of parking on the streets.
I worked as a student teacher in the preschool program. There are 4 special education preschool programs at this school which is amazing. Ms. Roxana Brock is an awesome teacher and colleague. The rest of the staff at the school are amazing and very friendly. The administration is amazing.
When you come to the school to sign in as a teacher or parent Juan in the front always greets you very excited and is helpful. These are things that make going there amazing and better than going to other schools. I would definitely send my child to the school if i had one.

Telfair is an excellent school. Both of my kids have attended there. I did give a 5 star rating, however, the only issue at this school is head lice. Even though I have been told that LAUSD considers this a common problem, I have only heard of an issue at this school.
