You can’t beat it for the price! The guy up front even gave us a military discount AND upgraded us to a king bed on the 1st floor! Usually that runs 73 bucks but after taxes and all, we walked out paying $ 60. Thanks guys!

You can’t find a nicer place for the price. The Drury Inn, which is next door was twice as much. I needed a place to catch a few hours of sleep and one that allowed dogs. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, free WiFi, coffee in room, mini fridge and microwave. This place is a great deal for the price. Added bonus, Panera is on your way out in the morning, and they have a drive-thru!

Definitely agree with Carmen’s review. Don’t let the name fool you, cheaper and a world better than the Baymont I stayed through my first trip to Paducah for work. They do offer rooms with microwaves and refrigerators. The outdoor pool is a nice bonus as well, although the way it’s situated it stops getting sun about 2 hours before sunset, there’s buildings on either side. Everything about the rooms were clean, the staff was nice.(Amber has been extremely polite and helpful every time I check in) Definitely my go-to place for business stays in Paducah.

For the price, comfort, cleanliness, and attitude of staff Thrifty Inn is worth the stay! We started at Days Inn and had a horrible experience and the clerk there recommended here. We will be staying again as we do not need a lot more than a bed when we pass by Paducah. The only truly lacking thing was breakfast. 4 choices of cereal, toast, bagels, and apples were all they offered.

It’s owned by Drury and was once a Drury Inn, so don’t let the lackluster name fool you into paying $ 20 more to stay next door. Rooms were large and spacious, and they’re dog-friendly. When I was here, there was a dog show in town, and the courtyard was full of dogs walking and playing in the evenings. Furniture was kind of pedestrian and dated, and there was no fridge or microwave in the room, but the staff was friendly, it was clean and spacious, and a good value for the money. A little noisy though — they were working on the staircases when I was there, so lots of banging. Breakfast is kind of average — bagels, doughnuts, cereal, nothing hot. I am on the road a lot and stay in hotels of all chains. This wasn’t a Holiday Inn, but it wasn’t Motel 6 either. It’s centrally located, and I’d stay here again. I actually liked it well enough to check on extended stay rates. A week would run $ 250 plus tax.
