One of the best bagels I’ve had! The bagel can be a little tough on some bites but overall a cheap and nice place. The workers can be a little nicer though

This is the best bagel shop in the world. No doubt about it. It really doesn’t get any better than these bagels. The only down side is that the parking is a hassle. Still, it is a 5 star shop. Amazing bagels all the time.

Best Bagels ever, I work for a company in Philadelphia and when I visit corporate I am not allowed in the building unless I bring 3 – 4 dozen bagels including a toasted onion with scallion cream cheese for the boss… My friends who live on the eastern end of Long Island also make me bring them bagels… They are Yummy, Fresh and have a wonderful taste, the Crew there are fun and always smiling… LOVE this place

This is the best bagel shop in NJ. Not a steakhouse where service actually matters. There’s nothing fancy here(unless you consider impeccable dough transformation to be an elegant process). During peak breakfast hours, there’s always a line out the door so expect to wait. If you’re in a rush or just lack patience, don’t come here. Parking is quite limited. But this is Palisades Park where most restaurants are metered street parking anyways. So save your quarters and just park anywhere along Bergen Blvd with the hazards on(nobody has ever gotten a ticket doing this so no worries). On some instances, I may have noticed employees working without gloves. But again, this is a bagel shop. I don’t expect my pizza to be served with gloves so why hold a bagel shop to higher standards. The cash only policy can be an inconvenience. But it’s a bagel shop. I once paid with a bunch of quarters I saved up. That said, their bagels are out of this world. Inside is so light you’d think there was no gravity. Outside is a delicate but not-so-delicate crust to give each bite the perfect balance. Two things I can’t avoid: plain bagel with cream cheese and lox; everything bagel with taylor ham, egg, and cheese. I split both with my wife and the outcome is a breakfast full of flavor and delightful texture. They just taste better than anywhere else I’ve tried. Maybe it’s the quality of their bagels. Maybe the extra time to find parking and wait on line helped create suspense for that first bite of the day. Regardless, I come here once a week and will continue to do so for a very long time…

The best bagels in town! I will absolutely go out of my way to grab a bagel here vs. any other bagel shop. Their bagels are always so fresh and fluffy! Warning: 1.The parking situation is a bit inconvenient because the shop is located on a main boulevard and the parking spaces that are available are very limited. I usually just park on the side and put on my blinkers. 2. This spot gets packed pretty quickly, especially around 9:30−10 am so you do have to wait a couple of minutes for your order but it’s definitely worth the wait! 3. It’s cash only.

Horrible, HORRIBLE place. This review is long overdue. I was there several months ago and haven’t gone since. I had ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a roll and I see this girl preparing my sandwich with no gloves on. she was literally holding my cheese in her hand. So I decided to say something and asked does this place not use any gloves. The main Spanish employee had the nerve to smirk at me and say«it’s because she’s Korean» then handed her a glove. Then he started to argue with me with a line that was going out the door. I’m pretty surprised that people still decide to go here with the unsanitary conditions and rude staff. I would highly recommend staying away from this place.

Fluffy bagels that are delicious. This place is good but didn’t really wow me I guess. I wish they had more options for cream cheese and I wish they cut my bagel all the way through so I don’t have to rip it myself in the car but it was busy so I can understand, but still.

Oh god I don’t even think this place deserves a star. First and foremost, the location is in the worst possible area with a few parking slots that are almost always full. The staff here are all incredibly rude and unprofessional. What do you expect from a bagel shop? There were two times when I came in and they said they«ran out» of certain bagels and rolls. It was only noon and they told me that I’m too late and they close the kitchen at 130pm. Last time they said 230pm when the store actually closes at 3pm. If you’re running a damn business you never say something like that to a customer and start talking shit in Spanish. Sadly this is the only bagel place I know around my area but please don’t waste your time here.

They have an average assortment of bagels and cream cheeses. I’ve had better bagels in terms of taste, texture, and variety. The cream cheese has a strange after taste and the coffee is watered down. I think they really lack in the taste department. Everyone wants to visit a bagel shop in the morning, searching for a great cup of coffee and a chewy yet crisp bagel. You know a bagel is great when you could eat it by itself, but it just doesn’t compare to the other bagel shops out there. I’ve had a couple of their sandwiches before and it’s mostly a large roll with really thin layers of condiments. I recommend visiting another shop :( So-So Service Ant Sized Parking Lot

One of the worst service I experience here. Bunch of no paper work Latinos working there. This one guy was rude and made me never wanna go there again. I bought a wrap there where the guy never washed the lettuce. Just unwrapped the plastic and gave me 2 thin piece of lettuce on my BLT! I paid $ 7 for 2 piece of bacon, 2 piece of lettuce(that was not washed) and 1 piece of tomato chopped with a hand that’s been touching money all day. This place was the best few years back, but now it’s garbage juice! Smfh!

Badass bagels. there’s Only a few places I would stand in line for and this place is one of them. They have the best bagels I’ve ever had. Light and airy in the inside, crusty outside shell the best. I had the egg ans bacon on a plain bagel. I’m still licking my fingers.

On May 9th2015, my friend and I went to Bergen Boulevard bagels to pick up some breakfast(bagels with cream cheese). When we placed our order, we noticed that the employees who were handling/preparing our bagels, was not wearing any kind of hand gloves. I thought it was a health regulated rule to always have washed hands and wear hand gloves whenever handling or preparing food for customers. When I confronted the manager that was on-site in a polite manner about what I had just witnessed, he became extremely defensive and made a racial remark. He stated that«it’s because she’s asian» — the employee who was preparing my food was asian. I had no idea how or why that was relevant to my complaint but felt that his comment was extremely rude and inapprorpriate. Instead of correcting the situation and handling it approrpriately, he made matters worse. When our bagels were ready, I felt hesitant in even wanting the bagels at this point. To make matters worse, he made a snarky comment to us saying«oh now you dont want the bagels anymore?» I took the bagels and paid for them that morning but walked out of the bagel store highly disrespected and mistreated. I have written a complaint notice to the Better Business Bureau about this manager and his employees. I believe this place has violated and is in breach of health codes and regulations. I highly recommend that you think twice about ordering food from this bagel store — although their bagels are very tasty, I can’t be certain how they are prepared as I clearly saw how careless they were about handling and preparing food — especially when customers like myself witness it on the spot.

The bagels alone are probably the best in Bergen county. Here are the negatives, the cream cheese is always hot! Hot bagels with hot cream cheese does not mix well. They always manage to mess up your order somehow, either not toasted, cheese included something is gonna go wrong. Lastly install an air conditioner system that cools down your place, your a successful small business in Pal Park invest in your business. For bagels this is the place. Bagels with anything on it, buyer beware.

The bagels here are definitely banging ! I got the taylor ham egg and cheese on an everything bagel But I don’t like how their everything bagel has salt on it. The sandwich was a bit too salty for me Their coffee is pretty good But I really liked their apple turnover It’s delicious! Definitely the best bagel place in the area. The ambiance is not great though And I believe this place is cash only!

My first time here. I rarely eat bagels and I have not had a taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich in about two years. I was living on the wild side and decided to order one while I was here and I am glad I did. The everything bagel was fresh and quite large and had a nice crispy crust on it. Great tasting sandwich on a great tasting bagel. Definitely glad I tried the sandwich here. Definitely a good spot if you are in the area.

My absolute favorite bagel shop!!! Best fresh bagels! The staff is awesome… usually it is different people but everyone who seems to work there is always on point and quick. Their bagels are soft with the perfect chewiness, oh man! Breakfast sandwiches such as bacon egg n cheese or sausage egg n cheese also delicious. A reminder: Cash only! so make sure you bring cash, they do not take cards. If it gets packed don’t worry they are quick, it is so worth the very small wait. Tip: their parking lot is super small, fits max of about 6 cars… but you may be able to find parking on the street nearby if the lot is full.
