First of all I usually don’t leave reviews until I have eaten there multiple times and I have eaten at most Korean joints multiple times. This place is currently my #1 fav for a quick Korean meal. We have been here many times and come at least 3 – 4 times a week. I will admit there have been times where my wife wasn’t too happy with service but they care and make up for it. The side dishes are great and they almost always give the steamed egg that my wife likes a lot. I always get the Yuk Gae Jang, lots of meat and taste great. I also tried the Gamjatang and agree with the other reviewer that there are a lot of seeds, but did not care really because it still tasted good and those seeds are quite healthy. We usually eat all the side dishes and they always refill them for us. Never asked for more rice but if you’re on a budget and $ 1 rice bowl refills are out of the question, you may want to try another place. Just be sure to ask if they charge for rice refills cause quite a bit of them do. Lol can’t believe some people.

Party of 3 ordered a large kim chi jigae type casserole dish cooked at the table. There was enough to easily feed 4 – 5 people. The issue I had was, per the waitress, this dish only included 2 bowls of rice. Any additional bowls would be an extra charge. Seriously? This place is so petty to charge on the bill for an extra bowl of rice? Absolutely. Needed rice for the 3rd person, and there the charge was on the bill. No biggie. We just deducted the price of the rice from the tip. Definitely not going back there again with so many other better alternatives.

Not a great experience. The Gamjatang(potato pork soup) had wayyyy too much Perilla Seed and overwhelmed the taste of everything. Samgyetang(chicken soup) was ok, but for $ 17, we expected better. My wife and I have had both of these dishes dozens of times, so we know what it should taste like(was a bad thing in this case). More than likely won’t go again as there are many other Korean restaurants on the street to try.

Went here for my sister’s birthday with my family. For what we got, it was way overpriced and service was just horrendous. Not sure if there was anyone friendly in the place. I was very tempted to walk out of the place because we were sat and no one came to take our orders after about ten minutes. We were all ready and just sat there waiting for someone to come to us and no one did. It was really irritating since there were not many people there to begin with since it was early Sunday, yet the servers were just wandering around the store. When we finally were able to order, we got a large seafood pancake to start as an appetizer and it was four pieces. Literally, a small thing that fit onto a small plate and they just cut it into four pieces for us. Honestly I don’t even want to know how small an actual small order would be. Also, we wanted it as an appetizer. It came out with all our entrees so it was annoying having to hurry to finish the pancake and then get to our entrée before it got cold. I had the galbi(short rib) hot pot. Can I just start by saying that if you do get this, you will get maybe five pieces of little meat on top covered by maybe 70% of onions and a little bit of rice on the bottom. See my picture. My sister ordered another hot pot which was okay I guess, had a lot more stuff than mine in it and was filled almost to the top while mine was less than halfway filled. My parents got two soups and they weren’t too satisfied with that either. My mom ordered her soup not spicy since she just had a procedure done and her stomach can’t handle it at the moment. Her soup ended up being so sweet she couldn’t even eat it. I believe it was a short rib soup. We needed to take most of our orders to go. We asked one of the ladies there, she said okay and never came back to help us. We finally flagged down our server and asked him and he just gave us a dirty look and reluctantly took our plates away. I’m sorry? Are we not allowed to take our leftovers home or something? I don’t understand. Got our bill which was $ 81 I believe which is normal for Korean places, but for the food and portions here, it really isn’t worth it. There are many other places in the area that are better and cheaper. Gave him $ 100, and he said you don’t need change right? My dad said no we need change and gave us another look. You’ve got to be kidding me lol. With the service and food we got, there is no way I am going to leave a $ 20 tip. I’m a pretty generous tipper, normally give 20% and sometimes more even if the food was bad but the service was good. My dad still ended up leaving $ 15 though which was more than I would’ve given. Pretty much walked out of there as fast as I could and safe to say I’m not going back.

Food is great. Never had issues with food. Great location and atmosphere. I don’t like the serving staff there because they seem to be there to talk to each other than attend to customers. I have asked for more side dish and 10 minutes later I finally got the side dish. Of course, throughout the 10 minutes, I kept looking and called them for attention, but how dare was I to try to end their conversation. Right? But great food. I will go back.

Wow. Tremendously underwhelmed. The sizzling stone bowl Bibimbap was so tasteless that my son who is a Bibimbap killer ate less than half of it. The pork bone soup smelled really bad that my wife and felt nauseated after eating. Ggakdugi was really bad. But I didn’t mind their cuke kimchi. I would never go again.

After a long trip, we decided to try this Korean restaurant. What a nice surprise. We had some the bulgogi + dwenjan jigue combo and bibimbap. It was great. A Little pricey to a korean restaurant. My kids loved so much they asked to come again in our next trip.

Just go there and give them your money. You won’t be disappointed. We had a wide, wide assortment of kimchi to start. I ordered the bibimbop with beef bulgogi + soft tofu. This came in the form of a combo for ~$ 15. Best decision I’ve made. They also have a variety of offerings, from rice cakes to seafood pancakes, from mackerel dishes to bulgogi meat. It was a 5-star experience in terms of quality of food and customer service.

Best tofu soup and Kimchee dishes I’ve had in Pal Park. Tofu is silken but not easily stirred into broken pieces that resemble dried scrambled eggs. Soup base is flavorful. Generous side dishes are delicious. Awesome lunch specials!

Visited this restaurant this weekend and was very impressed by their Soup, Bibimbab and side dishes. The staff is very attentive and friendly even though English may be a challenge when ordering.
