We have eaten in this outback place all over the USA and this one is lacking a supervisor or supervision completely. The bar ladies are more interested in visiting amongst themselves and stocking the liquor/wine cabinets than attending to the paying customers at the bar. The two at the front desk who usually open(one) door– not TWO doors for the oncoming and outgoing guests are again more interested in visiting than the noticing who’s coming and going… Sheesh where is the management of this place ???

I went with a group of friends I ordered the Salmon with a salad for my side… $ 16.99 and you only get one side. I have never seen such a small salad and small slice of Salmon would not even consider this to be a meal especially for the price. I will not be going back.

If it says Steak & Lobster special, just say No! Execpt that the price is more than nationally advertised(they warned us) and the Lobster is the size of a large shrimp,(no joke) and it’s bland, it’s a great deal!(NOT) Just go to Sizzler and save the $$ Outback never used to sell out like this! Lesson learned, now I just drive right on by. G-day Blokes!!!

I sat at the bar by myself ordered pork chops they were delivered and when I cut into them both were raw not even rare on the inside then the bartenders both of them proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation and not wait on anyone else I could not order another cocktail or anything when they did come by I said my food was way too rare all she did was walk away give me a check charge me for one drink never offer to remedy the situation I don’t believe customer service is there top priority even though the owners name of the restaurant is above the front door the place was not that busy for Thursday night at 8 o’clock poor service no management involvement does not make for good business practices be very careful when you leave there raw pork can make you sick lack of management and caring equals poor customer service

I had not been here in many years and the entire drive here, I was looking forward to ordering my two favorite items from here. The Bloomin’ Onion and the Slow Roasted Prim Rib. The former was as amazing as I remembered from childhood. Sure I can taste how fattening it was with every bite, but some things are worth the calories. I can’t comment on the latter because they were out by the time I ordered my dinner. This broke my heart. This is one of two reasons reason I went with a three-star rating instead of a four. I felt like I didn’t arrive too late in the evening and they should’ve had enough prime rib because it’s season in the desert communities and the restaurant should be prepared to be a little more busy than usual. So because I couldn’t have the meat I had been fantasizing about for hours prior, I went with the Ribeye and it was delicious. Excellent cut of meat, well seasoned, and cooked exactly how I ordered. So although I didn’t get the meat I wanted, I still enjoyed some good meat. Another item I enjoyed was the dinner salad I had prior to my entrée. I don’t know why but Outback’s salads are just a little better than most places. This must mean they’re super unhealthy. The bartenders were also our servers, as I wanted to to sit at the bar for to watch the Kings game, which the bartenders were nice enough to put on for me on one of their television sets, even though football was on. Actually both bartenders were pretty awesome, so thank you to Aaron and Marisol(I believe that was her name). While at the bar, I decided to order an alcoholic beverage. I was hoping for a Moscow Mule. This brings me to my second issue that I had. Outback in Palm Desert doesn’t make mules! This is one of my biggest pet peeves in today’s bar world. If you cannot make my go-to beverage, we cannot be friends!

My boyfriend and I went out for the first time in a long while since having kids. The drinks were great, the Bloomin’ Onion was as delicious as we remember, but our steaks at a steak place were just bleh. My steak was edible and I ate it all, but it lacked flavor. My boyfriends steak he said was«too gritty and under cooked» I also got a crab cake, which I get everywhere and it was a huge disappointment. It lacked flavor. We spent $ 100 and I would have rather spent $ 100 on some better food. I gave it three stars for, drinks, apps, and great service. The hosts were friendly and efficient, the bar tender was great, and so was our server.

Every time I’m on this side of time I try to get in to Outback. You just can beat the price. I like to pair the fillet(medium rare) with a French Onion soup and a loaded baked potato. For around $ 20 you can’t find a better deal. They have great beers on tap and a pretty good happy hour!

Just left. The customer service was amazing from the second i walked in. Greeted with a smile, and was seated immediately. The appetizers and meal came quickly. Everything was exact and made how i wanted. And the outback steak. It tasted perfect. The side of macaroni and cheese was amazing, although slightly burnt. But the best of all was the desert. Their chocolate thunder was a perfect sweet treat to tie together the night. All in all a great dining experience.

I was SO not impressed with this Outback. My husband and I came here for a nice dinner while we were in the desert on a trip. We drove from Indio to eat here and honestly wish we’d gone somewhere else. We went on a Sunday night, it was super busy and the service was not very good. I ordered the Outback Special medium well… it came out so over cooked you couldn’t even consider it «well done» it was burnt! I sent it back and got my steak cooked properly the second time, but then our server started to blow us off. I understand that she was busy, but seriously there was only two of us and she avoided coming over to our table 3 times! I’m a fan of Outback, but this was a poor dining experience in my opinion.

Normally we have pretty consistent food from this store but the last few time less than happy. Ordered all the steaks at the table med rare, 5 people and every steak was different from almost rare to well done. Came by our table of 6ONLY once to check on our drinks. When delivering the food had no idea who ordered what.

I have been eating at this Outback for years but had not been in for close to a year and now I won’t be back. Almost no dressing on salad, had to ask for more. Asked for sour cream on baked potatoes had to ask for more. Side of mushrooms came in smaller container. I ordered the porterhouse steak. It came with virtually no tenderloin, and I’m not exaggerating. New franchisee? Disappointing old customers is not good for business.

Started off by using call ahead seating. Apparently if you call ahead, if there is a wait when you there your party will«be bumped ahead of the list» so we arrive(party of 2 and a highchair) she says 20 – 25 minutes. A party comes in right after us(no call ahead seating) and was also told 20 – 25 minutes. So I guess we didn’t get«bumped» up very far. Anyways, finally sat down and ordered drinks(a mango iced tea & diet coke) and a blooming onion. The blooming onion came out SOFAST! I was a little thrown off thinking it wouldn’t be fresh because it just doesn’t seem possible that it could of cooked that fast. But tastes delicious so no complaints there. Later, my boyfriend orders another diet coke and more bread. And the waiter asked for his glass! Like really you can’t bring a fresh one? And then brings bread and says«it may not be all the way cooked but I grabbed the hottest one I could find» excuse me?! So you serve food that is not all the way cooked? And he then takes notice that my mango iced tea is low and grabs a pitcher to «top it off» with REGULARTEA! And doesn’t bother to tell me that until he’s already filled it and then walks away. I also asked for A1 sauce and never received it. Oh and my steak was drenched in pepper, gross. I don’t want to give up on Outback Steakhouse because I love their blooming onion. But some of the servers need a little more training.

9÷9÷15 took our eldest for her birthday tonite. i must say i was impressed. understand i haven’t been there in about 20 yrs(had REALLY bad experience there then) but she requested it. am very glad she did. Service was impeccable– our server, Derek was Fast and Personable. he made sure the little ones had something right away until their food was ready. food was excellently prepared. and the unlimited shrimp was amazing. they were down 2 servers and it was busy so things weren’t as fast as they probably usually are but Derek explained the problem & i believe he was really pushing himself to take care of all his tables quickly. he also was handling at least 3 other birthday people that i saw — so he had is hands full. the entire time he was smiling & making us feel cared for. all in all a delightful evening. he even took the time to answer several questions we had. i will say i am happy about menu changes from back then — even the little ones had a full appropriate menu to choose from. i will say they cleaned their plates & the portions were NOT minuscule.

Have you ever noticed that if you have excellent customer service, the food seems to taste better? And, if the service is poor, the food doesn’t taste as good? Online Orders, Curbside Take-Away: I love going out, but sometimes the group wants to stay in or hang out at the pool. Online ordering is super easy to place and upon arrival, there is a special parking spot just for pickup. 5-Stars here. Drinks: For me: Tiki Bandit($ 7.95) made out of rum, vodka, blood orange and ginger. I’ve had this on two different visits and the consistency has been off. The first time it was really good, but the second time it tasted more like punch. A big negative was our server said all drinks were half price, but this was not true for premium drinks, which he did not explain. 3-Stars for the drink. Entrée: For me: Victoria filet mignon($ 24.99), cooked medium well with sweet potato and fresh veggies. My meat was very tender and delicious. There was a nice mild seasoning on the vegetables. 4-Stars This past visit I had the garlic-mashed potatoes instead of the sweet potato, and the flavor was missing, a sure miss. 2-Stars. For him: Ribeye($ 22.99) charred medium rare with baked potato loaded and mixed veggies. His comment was that it was really good. 4-Stars. The rest: ordered prime rib($ 24.99), sirloin($ 14.99) and another order of the Victoria filet mignon(copy cat). Note: $ 1.00 extra for a sweet potato. Dessert: Chocolate Thunder From Down Under($ 13.98), a gluten-free brownie with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, fudge, chocolate shavings. Good, a large portion, but too rich for me, so we shared. 4-Stars An order of a «Tower»($ 7.00) — a huge slice of cake that I did not taste. Customer Service: Right — Allison: We came in about a month or so ago and had a fantastic server named Allison. She made the experience so much better than what we could imagine. Liking this new customer service experience so much, we decided to put this restaurant back on our favorites list. 5-Stars for her. Wrong — What’s His Name: Last Sunday, we came back with a party of six for a birthday celebration(four adults and two little ones). Our server was so off, he appeared to have another interest other than work. The salad plates were not cleared when the entrées showed up. He was in slow motion and reminded me so much of Rob Schneider that I expected hidden cameras to pop out. 2-Stars for him as a server… …but I would have given him three bonus stars if he was the comedian and he did a comedy routine.

This is my first time that order To –Go, and worse decision ever. They said it will be ready with in 30 min, I guess it was ready way before that because at time of arrival was cold. fries was cold, burger was cold and super dry. Shame. I was really looking forward to have it.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to an Outback, and this experience reminded me why. The food quality is still a decent value for their prices, which haven’t increased much in 10 years. The service really left something to be desired at this location. Thankfully one of the other servers noticed the neglect and helped to pick up the slack. But we waited quite a while once we sat down for anyone to come around, drinks to get refilled, and to pay the check. Last the state of the bathroom was appalling. It looked like a gas station bathroom with puddles and paper everywhere. I used it on my way out, and then started wondering about the state of the kitchen… Ugh.

It had been years since I had been to an Outback Steakhouse. The boyfriend and I were starving after some Black Friday shopping and decided on Outback. We went on a Friday evening and we waited about 5 – 10 minutes. We went to the bar to have a couple of drinks while we got called for our table. I ordered a Cadillac Margarita and the boyfriend ordered a beer. My drink was stiff and his beer was $ 1 off for happy hour. Our server was attentive and friendly. I would have given Outback a five star review but their was a shift change with our waiters and our first waiter did not come out to tell us that he was done for the day and introduce our new waiter. I ordered the Chicken Griller and the boyfriend Sirloin w/Coconut Shrimp. My dinner was delicious and I was very satisfied. My plate came w/veggies, rice pilaf and a wedge salad. The coconut shrimp were lightly battered crispy and sweet. You get a lot of bang for your buck going to Outback. Can’t wait to go back and try a different plate!

3 ½ stars. This place is consistent if you’re in the mood for a no frills decent dinner. I ended up here on a weeknight in the bar. No waiting for a small booth in the bar area made it convenient and a baseball game was on one of many flat screens. The menu is busy so I asked my waitress for a a Combo that included a salad, potato and Ribeye steak My steak which I requested cooked over wood was tender and boneless. The salad was decent but not as fresh as I’ve had in the past and the baked potato with the works was savory although on the smaller size My waitress who was also bartending did a solid job multitasking. I would return to this Outback again for the convenience and decent food.
