Palm Desert Dermatology & Skin Cancer

When I called for an appointment to see a dermatologist I was given an appointment the same day. When I arrived I was told by Crystal the receptionist that the dermatologist doesn’t come in on Fridays and my appointment was with the physicians assistant. While I ordinarily don’t mind a PA my problem was severe enough that I felt I needed an MDs opinion. I feel they just wanted more patients and didn’t feel it necessary to inform me that I wouldn’t be seen by an MD. The PA was very nice and seemed competent but I still felt I should have been told. They promised to call in a prescription but when I got to the pharmacy it wasn’t there. When I called Crystal she said they were out to lunch and would send it later and it would take a few hours. Fast forward three hours later pharmacy still didn’t have it. Another call to Crystal with confusing responses. I finally gave up. The staff here is not only unhelpful but a simple task like getting a prescription is taking me all day. I do not recommend this place for any serious skin problems. They also have stringent financial policies and require full payment in advance for cosmetic procedures. Not taking any chances I guess but doesn’t speak well for customer satisfaction. My advice fire Crystal and get a better receptionist.

Came in for skin cancer screening. My niece was just diagnosed with melanoma and I promised to go get my moles checked. The staff were so warm and welcoming — I was a little uneasy and they made me feel so much better. Had two moles removed right away — sending my husband back next week for his screening. I would definitely recommend!

I have seen several dermatologist, and none have taken the time to listen and do a thorough job as this office has. The Doctor I see is very knowledgeable in his field and up-​to-​date with the latest skin treatments and technology. The office staff is very nice and friendly and the ladies that work on my Chemical peels and Microdermabrations are very knowledgeable as well and are very pretty ladies too. I have recommended to all my friends and recommend to all who are looking for an experienced staff and skin specialist.

Highly Recommend this facility, FIVE STARS! I have a pleasant experience every single time I visit, the clinic is always clean. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, doctors are very good at what they do. They offer great services, not to mention they have amazing skin care product that I am overly obsessed and satisfied with.
