If I could give negative stars I would. This place is disgusting and so unsanitary! First time we came my brother got sick. Thought it was just a bug since I didn’t get sick too. Second time we brought the whole family and we all have food poisoning now! DONOTEATHERE!!! Went inside to use the bathroom and there was a cockroach in the corner! This place should be shut down immediately.

First time visit. Late night stop after some foot golf. Got the chorizo burrito. Super greasy but edible. Bathroom was dirty. Overall food got the job done.

I just paid $ 7.67 for a burrito, 1 burrito, no sides. One would assume by paying this much he would in turn, receive an outstanding burrito. That was far from the case. The«grilled chicken burrito» specifically states: guacamole, and salsa. Not only did it not come with guacamole, the burritos size itself was pathetic. It consisted of mainly tortilla with a bit of chicken, and salsa. Like come on, where are your standards, how do you serve s*** like this? I am pist. $ 7.67, what a joke.

Love it! Its open 24hrs, even the lobby. Opposite to other peoples burrito issues, our burritos have been huge, in fact we often share a wet burrito. The $ 3 tacos are the size of a burrito, i get two large tacos out of it, since there r two tortillas. Cabeza is good. Desserts are good. Last but not least staff is always very nice n service is fast.

I’ve been to two Santana’s locations. This one was so disappointing. I asked for a plate with taquitos and just beans, no rice. The other location had some mighty tasty beans, so I was expecting something wonderful. The beans had NOFLAVOR. They did not use any salt in preparing them or they are being friendly to those of us who should be watching our salt intake. Yuck. Even adding salsa couldn’t save them. Those of you who Unilocal stalk me or know me, in person, know that all I really care about is the quality of the beans. For me, it is a deal breaker. Too bad. It isn’t too far from my new job. I could have become a regular.

Open 24 hours this is probably the only late night place in the valley to get your Mexican food fix. It’s definitely not King Taco that’s for sure, but since I no longer live in LA this will have to do. If you’re in a hurry, good luck, because they are slow… did I say slow? I only order the steak fries or the San Felipe burrito. The San Felipe burrito is loaded with asada, shrimp, rice and tartar sauce. It’s pretty good! If you’re expecting good service, look elsewhere.

This place is open 24⁄7 like the other Santana’s restaurants. Unfortunately they changed their name, but still have the same pricing, food, and hours. They have plenty of parking. They’re slow when they’re rushed by groups of people at night, but worth the wait. They have soft drinks and also offer horchata, jaimaca, and piña drinks. They have a large salsa bar to choose from. Their restrooms are always clean, along with the tables. The staff here is friendly and helpful. I always order the tortas from here and have yet to be disappointed. The burritos are packed and the tacos are good. The only downfall for this place is the slow service from time to time and the interesting characters you see late at night. Overall 4 stars because the slow service is can get to you at times. This place is great for late night and highly recommend after a night of dancing or bar hopping!

Burritos are great. Don’t get anything else though. They don’t use paper on bottom of styrofoam and to melt the cheese they put the whole meal in the microwave in the styrofoam. That leaches a lot of chemicals into the food. Those chemicals cause cancer. Other than that, food is consistent. Good enough for a quick Meal

I tried it because it was convenient, it has a drive-thru and it’s 24hours. I was very disappointed. Food was terrible. Ordered the tacos, the meat was really dry. And I didn’t enjoy the rice and beans either. Worst part was, it wasn’t cheap. Found myself wishing I’d just gone thru Del Taco instead. Thumbs down.

We go here about once a month when we need our mexican food fix. The staff seems pleasant enough. I always order the chimichanga and my husband always gets the california burrito with extra meat. The only things that we actually don’t like is the raise in prices since we started to come here, and the beans which are just awful and bland. Double rice works just fine though. Also, be sure to remember to order a drink. it goes with the meals as part of the price but they NEVER ask what you want to drink, and if you don’t tell them you want the drink(that is paid for with the meal!), you won’t get one!

Stopped here for a bite while passing through town. Was so excited to find Santana’s since I was fond of them while living in San Diego. Unfortunately, I’m still paying the price for the greasy nasty tasting bean & cheese burrito I ate topped with mild salsa. The beans were runny & about 2/3rds of the way through my stomach started churning and hasn’t stopped yet. The grilled chicken burrito was also literally dripping with oil. The girl at the register was not friendly in the slightest… Definitely won’t be back… Ever!!!

This is your average run of the muck cheap, greasy, Mexican fast food. After moving to the desert from San Diego I’ve been craving Mexican food so badly. The food here is definitely no where near San Diego or even L. A quality Mexican food, but it’ll do while out of reach of a better one.

I can’t believe this place only has 2 ½ stars. I’ve been to countless cheap Mexican taco joints, this one is the slam dunk of tasty! My wife told me about the Santana’s restaurants a while back, just finally got to go to one as none are close enough to my first home. Without a doubt, the tasty grille chicken burrito on the planet. I don;t eat red eat so can’t comment on the carne asada, sorry people. But, the chicken burrito with guac, holy cow! The meat is clearly seasoned and in a perfect recipe. Soft chicken, I can’t even describe how damn good the burrito is… and this is coming from someone who lives right next to a taco joint at home. Every time I come to the desert this is a must on a Friday night now. I have no idea what people are tripping on giving this place crappy reviews, but to each his own, I guess… I’ll be back next time I’m up here! :)

I come here often for lunch and the food is consistent. When trying«Mexican» food I try to find the authentic flavors that I’ve known since childhood. So far I stick to the burritos and tacos only, the food has flavor but its not so authentic, i would call it California/San Diego infusion. What I like about the tacos(carne asada, carnitas, al pastor, etc) its the size; for the price its a big taco. The thing I don’t like about the place is that most of the other items are a bit more pricey compared to other Mexican restaurants around the area. I love the salsa bar it has many choices of salsas ranging from mild to hot and it has many toppings you can add to your food.

Came out of convenience while out on a business call here in the Desert. Tried the beef rolled tacos which could have used a little more beef and flavor but was fine nonethless. Salsa bar could use a little attention and/or lighting, but compared to most taco shops in So.Cal. Not bad, and it satisfied my taco shop hunger. I really can’t complain or compare for the better or the worse.
