The Purple Room was hard to find in the dark even with a map with directions. We did not know that it’s inside the Club Trinidad Resort. We had reservations for dinner and show. The show was titled Jump and it was a musical paying tribute to to the great Hollywood stars like Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, Keely Smith etc. The show was worth the price of the ticket. Dinner is served prior to the show which is in the same room. The room is loud as there is a lot of dinner conversation from the dining room and the bar area. Be careful not to be seated behind a post which will obstruct the view of the stage. Also try to get a chair facing the stage. The starter was a Brussels Sprout salad which was a meal in its self. Very tasty and large. One of our entrees was Mahi Mahi that was moist and flavorful. The Pork Chop entrée was tender and cooked perfectly and juicy. For desert we shared a Carmel Tart that was the perfect size for sharing and consisted of the right balance of caramel to crust. Overall the Purple Room is a great place to visit if you are interested in a combination of dinner and theater.

The service is slow and its crowded, the ad states that happy hour is all nite but that applies only to drinks not the half off bar bites. The music is live on Tuesday and Thursday it is pretty good. It is a nice place didn’t eat the main menu stuck to bar bites, probably will not be back.

I can’t believe this place has been open for several years, and this was the first time we’ve visited.(Found it on Unilocal, when looking for a new happy hour spot. Yay for Unilocal!) Wife and I went on a Tuesday, when the happy hour for adult libations runs all the way to 10:00 p.m. We just missed half-priced food, which ends at 7:00 p.m. Even still, the small plates served at the bar were enough food for us, and both items(beer cheese with bread, and flat bread pizza) were tasty and satisfying. The happy hour pricing on drinks is insane — $ 3 for well cocktails, $ 5 for call, and $ 7 for premium. Normally, I just go with a well gin & tonic, but for $ 5, I stepped it up and went with Tanqueray. There seems to be live entertainment pretty much every night of the week, and Tuesday was no exception. As might be expected, the bar was pretty crowded when we arrived, but we snagged the last two seats, which, fortunately for us, faced the stage. Score. Rose Mallett was singing, and she was great. The bar staff was low-key, friendly, and attentive. We will return, and we’ll try to get there before 7:00 next time!

The small plate menu for late night fare is nice. Crab cakes, sliders, escargot, etc. — all good. The Stage can be viewed anywhere in room. It’s laid out well. P.A. Sounds expensive. Now then, this questionable«lobster» in the linguine. There must be a very wide definition of «lobster». There’s lots of it in bowl, but it still doesn’t make it «lobster». #JustSaying Parking will take a few minutes to find.
