We split the King Club and fries, which was enough for two. The turkey on the sandwich was cut from their own roasted turkey breast, not sliced from a loaf of deli meat! Good food, good value, pleasant staff and clearly a neighborhood favorite for good reason.

Fast, attentive service, by what has to be some of the most attractive wait staff I’ve seen in a while. (Yeah, yeah call me a creeper) but really attractive servers will bring me back to a place probably just as often as good food will. And this place has both.

Super friendly service right from the get-​go, really speedy and really thorough. We got visited often to make sure we had everything we needed and felt a genuine care for customer service. The place was very clean and not crowded at all. We got our food very quickly for what we ordered and the food was so crazy good! Definitely going to come here plenty more times in the future.

My favorite lunch spot. Great food, great service.
Favorites are Sirloin Tips and Noodles, Chef salad, Teriyaki Chicken stir fry and Split Pea soup.
Prepare for big portions :-)

I will never go to any other restaurant for a burger or onion rings. Best burger and onion rings I’ve ever had, this place is a hidden gem. People are friendly, great service. My mom said pastrami sandwich was a A+ as well.

I’ve been eating here since Irene’s opened its doors. It has very good home type food.
You get a lot of food at a good value.
I saw some reviews that were posted of people that did not have a good experience, all I can say is even the best may have a bad day and did that person bring any of their concerns to the owners? I’m sure they would have tried make it right.
I will continue to come here regularly.

This place is decent but over-​rated. Interior design needs a make-​over. Paintings and wall colors are unusual and odd. The staff doesn’t wear any name badges or uniforms. The owner or managers will walk right by their customers without greeting or acknowledging them or anything. They will close their doors randomly and sooner than their posted hours. Needs improvement but not the worse either.

Delishhhhhhhhhh!!! Our server was really sweet and attentive. She kept our glasses filled and made sure everything was okay. I’ll definitely be back. I atmosphere is very welcoming. Try it out people.

Looking for a great place to eat breakfast besides our usual Denny’s or IHOP, I was destined to find a hole-​in-​the-​wall kind of place in the area, but good. I decided to go here because of the reviews, and my wife wasn’t too crazy about it, especially by just looking at it from the outside. We go inside and I can immediately tell it’s very «homey» simple décor, nothing fancy, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is awesome! Especially if you like homemade everything, from omelets, hamburger patties, chili, even milkshakes which are delicious. We have been there quite a few times already and have made it our to-​go breakfast & lunch spot. If you don’t see something on the menu, they’ll likely make it for you, no problem. The prices are great, and the service is quick. Thumbs way up!

Saturday morning 1⁄30.
Sleepy day finds Irene’s half full… my first ever walk in to this smallish eatery is inauspicious. The wait help does not see me for a few minutes, and I’m needing to plant somewhere. Studying the menu, the breakfast choices are in the dozens.. and i like the tamale omelet with pancakes as replacement side for hash browns. The wait is 15 – 20 minutes, but it is worth it.
The plates are big, and the omelet with meat I fills it. Every bite is so so good.. I kept up a brisk pace and finished the entire plate. I haven’t been impressed with pancakes before but… here they are big, and even better than Mom’s. That’s saying a lot. So full, so pleased.
The help was adequate but not what I would call friendly.. but maybe next time.. because I’m going back.. I recommend breakfast at least as the best in the A.V.

This is a hidden gem. This nondescript little place hides in the middle of a strip mall. Inside is nothing fancy. The burgers are well seasoned and cooked to order, and thank you for putting mayo on the burgers! That’s the way uh-​uh I like them! The pile of fries was huge and well seasoned (Lawry’s I’m guessing). The bill was appropriate for the volume of food. Next time I’m in town, I’d go back.

A little ways off the freeway, but worth it !
The burgers are amazing, huge thick patty perfectly cooked, a little crisp on the outside and medium well and tender. The double is almost too much, fries are crisp and fresh with seasoned salt. Also Tried the open face roast beef smothered in mashed potatoes and gravy, very good. Fried chicken pieces a little small but crisp and good. Service was excellent, very attentive

First time here, we were on the way back to the Bay Area from a month road trip and boy was I famished. Saw this place and decided to stop by with a group of friends.
Very welcoming waitress/​owner and had no problem for seating. The place is pretty big and roomy.
I ordered the fried chicken and at first I thought it wouldn’t be enough food but towards the end I was stuffed ! Great fried chicken

Who the heck gave these people more than one star??? It should be a minus…
Place is dirty and run down with a layer of grease throughout the place, food looks good but is not! My ruben was grilled too much and the pastrami was chewy and tasted like it was grilled with all the other good, fries were over cooked and tasted like they were old.
Banana split had whipped cream that was warm and most likely not refrigerated well or at all.
Burgers that my boys had were flavorless with tje worst quality meat.
