I recently became a patient of Dr. Zweig’s after my internist of 20+ years retired.
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Zweig’s for some years and I had observed that he received such attentive care! Dr. Zweig is available by phone and e-​mail. It is not difficult to schedule an appointment, and Dr. Zweig and his staff run on-​time. Dr. Zweig’s patients receive very personalized care.
This is so refreshing after years of having to call about 6-​months ahead of time to schedule an appointment for an annual exam, and having to wait days to see my doctor for routine visits, and sometimes being scheduled with another physician when mine was not available. There were long waits for many appointments and on one occasion after sitting for about an hour, I learned that the doctor/​staff had forgotten I was there.
I am delighted with the care that I am receiving from Dr. Zweig. He is caring, approachable, explains medical issues in layman’s terms, and he suggests the choices that you can make.
I recently had a situation that was of concern. I was in his office the next day. While there, he contacted an imaging practice, scheduled an appointment, and referred me to several surgeons. He explained that I did not have to have the surgery and what my choices were.
