so when i bit down on the olive pit 10 years ago, i knew i was in for it. i broke 2 teeth and HATED the dentist visits of my past. eventually, the teeth stopped hurting and all seemed fine until one day last year when it got ugly. suddenly, things cracked, fell out, oh god i had to deal with it or look like i was on the way to a willy nelson concert. i went to dr low, a general local palo alto dentist and found out that the top and bottom teeth that had bit down on that old seed, were broken down to the jaw and i needed IMPLANTS or a bridge. well, bridges are for grannies so i had to get the implants. they refered me next door to dr. koszeghy. i went in to my visit and went into my room without delay, never even had to read the magazine(bonus!). in came dr koszeghy, who, by the way, is kind, blonde, tall, handsome and slim. he has a very slight eastern european accent, but i believe he went to harvard. anyway, nevermind. he was all business and perfection. i told him i didnt want to be there and he said he understood. he was wonderfully calming to me. his assistant corinne was truly adorable and helped me through my self-inflicted trauma, and anticipated my every need and desire for comfort. all this wonderfullness aside, the procedure for the 2 implants was shockingly easy and i didnt even need more than a few advil in the following days. i had heard horror stories of the pain of recovery from friends who had gotten implants before me, but none of this was true for me. the procedure was comfortable, serene, and i had almost NO discomfort. shocking. my friends who had gotten implants were shocked as well, and wished that they had seen dr. koszeghy instead of whoever they went to for their horrors. one friend had to get hers done twice! how awful! no way would i use anyone else GODFORBID i ever need another implant. 3 months later, when i was at another palo alto dentist getting a crown, the dentist had some trouble with it, so he said he wanted to get the advise of an expert, and 3 minutes later, in walks dr koszeghy! he was the expert that the regular dentist called, and he was there in a flash to help him out, and instantly told him what needed doing. yay. if you need an implant, im really sorry. but do yourself a favor and get it done by dr. k. dont learn the hard way like thank god i didnt have to. thanks dr koszeghy and corinne, i have no excuses anymore, i even am going in for regular cleanings! my dentistphobia is in my past. rejoice.

I sought out Dr. Bartlett because I felt I was getting shafted by the periodontist my old dentist initially recommended me to — both in terms of price and modernity of the procedure. I found Dr. B through extensive online searching and also because he was quoted in a Palo Alto Daily article about my procedure, which included gum surgery and bone grafting. It was a great decision. Doctor Bartlett is smart, experienced, and friendly. His team is great to work with(remembers names, cracks jokes, and gets things done quick). Plus he gave me the more technologically advanced procedure I needed, charging me like half the price of the other guy. This is a no-frills office: There’s nice chairs to wait in and a ton of magazines, but once you’re in the dentist’s chair, it’s all business(no tv/music like my general dentist). That’s fine with me. You come here for pretty major dental work(I believe they are periodics only), and they get it done. All in all, I saved almost a thousand bucks and had a much better experience. I highly recommend Dr. Bartlett.
