Maggie is by far the best hair stylist I have ever met. Maggie has cut my hair for over 17 years years and there has never been a single visit where I was disappointed with my haircut. In fact, I know of a few guys who have seen Maggie just as long as I have and are all extremely pleased with her skills and efficiency. But above all else, Maggie is a great person with a great heart. I sincerely enjoy the conversations I have had with Maggie for all these years. The few minutes you have her goes so fast because the visit is more than just getting a haircut but an opportunity to catch up with a friend. Hope that gives you confidence in visiting Maggie. You won’t be disappointed!

i’ve been going to see maggie for years now and i always, without fail get the haircut that i want. just like with most places you may have to go once or twice before they get it exactly the way you want it but i have to say that i’m very happy going here. highly recommended.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now. I see Maggie, and she knows what cut I want without asking(but she often asks anyway). My hair is pretty easy — curly, keep in short. I get a decent, but not exceptional hair cut here. Over the years, the price has gone up from $ 15 to $ 17 and now $ 20. I understand costs go up, but I’m still only getting a $ 15 haircut.

I got my hair cut at Ciseaux d’Or for about five years straight when living in Palo Alto. Unlike its name suggests, the place is Vietnamese and not French. It’s easy, quick and relatively cheap($ 17 for a simple cut), and I’ve always been satisfied. Nothing too fancy but they know what they’re doing. The owner(Maggy?) is very friendly and gives good haircuts, but I tend to prefer the other two guys(whose names I can’t remember), who I think are little more meticulous. Thumbs up.
