Only cares about money! I’ve never in my life meet a worst dr. And I want other people to be aware of it. There are so many Dr’s that care about their patients — but not him. He charges $ 150 for cancelation of appointments even if you made the appointment 2 days before and don’t even have a full week to give notice. I canceled my appointment because based of the interactions with him before — I did not feel comfortable having him as my Dr! DONOT Use him as your DR. Go to someone that cares and it’s not money hungry!!!

I tried to make an appointment with Dr Corelli. He sent me a large amount of paperwork to fill out ahead of time, including the front and back of my insurance card(which has ample mental health coverage) and the top half of a claim form(which, as a physician myself, I have never made a patient fill out). He also required me to sign a statement that I would pay his full rate of $ 150/hr for every missed/cancelled appointment for which he did not receive a full week’s advance notice. I returned the paperwork without signing that statement, asking to discuss it with him first, so he wrote me back a tersely worded email, like one you might receive from a 3rd grade teacher or the DMV, refusing to accept me as a patient.

With an 11-year career in Nursing under my belt(including Behavioral Health Nursing), I can confidently say Dr. Corelli is one of the best physicians I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I have been a weekly patient of his for 3 ½ years for OCD and I continue to be impressed with his superior listening skills, advice and professional demeanor. I am especially astounded by his astute insight into my diagnoses and how physical and psychological symptoms can relate to each other. To put it simply, he is an exceptionally brilliant Psychiatrist. His appointment’s always start and end on time so there is never a wait — nor for the next client. This proves to me that his client’s time is as valued as his own. He has a Jungian-style and you can easily see the influence in his approach to therapy. I did not know this going in to my first appointment so I did a lot of research, which I definitely recommend to other potential/current clients as this will help you to better understand the hows and whys of his approach to therapy and the goals you will ultimately set for yourself. I recommend Dr. Corelli to anyone seeking therapy. He has 3 locations: Palo Alto, Pacifica, and Half Moon Bay. He is easy to schedule with and if you need to change an upcoming appointment, he will gladly accommodate you when given appropriate notice of the appointment change.

Lousy, cold person and only out for the buck. Better find you an empathetic, caring physician. Said I was depressed, but never inquired about my mother, who had died two months before my appointment. I guess he never heard of a grief reaction.
