Came here for the lunch. Service is whatever. The people who work there aren’t very friendly and accommodating. Be sure to get there early if you want to catch the lunch special 8.99AYCE. It’s worth it if you come early but after 12:45 they pretty much stop bringing out hot pizza’s. Every now and again. They will bring our a pie but the slices are tiny. My favorite is the Hawaiian or the BBQ chicken. They fall under specialty pizza’s. Overall it was an average experience. I only come here when I’m craving something greasy and affordable. So try it out if you want some standard Round Table Pizza, but keep in mind that you will be ignored by the employees.

horrible experience all times but they’re the only round table that accepts coupons but even then they manage to screw it up. my father and I had a family deal coupon for one large pizza and a side for $ 22(already pretty expensive) and then i wanted a small salad for $ 6. Cashier didn’t seem to understand the coupon and ended up charging us $ 35 dollars. we then ordered a large pepperoni pizza with olives on one side and mushrooms on the other. took forever to try and explain what we wanted, and ended up getting olives and mushrooms on one side and pepperoni on the other. then when we received our order, we asked where our side was and showed our receipt and coupon(we ordered the parmesan twists) and then he said that it was only for dine in and not take out! then with the salad bar, everything was practically empty with lame lettuce but what can you expect from a salad bar. so we ended up with the wrong pizza(cold too), no side, lame salad and charged extra. never coming here again. I suggest the pizza my heart across the street

I grew up coming here for my birthday parties and for just… pizza. After moving out to Colorado, there isn’t really a chain or even a local shop that compares to Round Table. I always make it a point to come back to my old stomping grounds where my family + I would catch 9ers games and grab a pie. I miss this place so much! Please expand to Colorado!

I called in my order at 6:30 on Thursday night, I was told 45 minutes. at 7:55 I called back asking where my pizza was. I was told the driver was down the street and that it would be 5 minutes. He finally got there at 8:15 and my pizza was stone cold. I only live 2 miles away. Completely unacceptable for such an expensive place. If you are going to charge $ 30 for a pizza it should be on time and hot when it is delivered.

Very very very bad service The driver showed up an hour and a half late and brought the wrong pizza. When I specifically asked them not to put mushrooms in my pizza they did it twice stupid people. In Return all they can do is refund my money no discounts for future pizza and no free pizza. They are so expensive and rude people even the stupid driver came back after five minutes and started to blame me and tried to push me to keep the pizza

I’ve been here numerous times but every time it gets less and less appealing. Visit before today was a Friday night out with the family including kids. Full of homeless people who had their luggage/belongings scattered, no serious complaint because they were customers. A person stumbled in obviously under the influence started making a scene which led to an all out brawl right in front of our table! Kids were terrified so we rushed our meal and left. Before we could leave the restaurant the Homeless people near by took all our over left overs. After witnessing that I then realized they weren’t customers at all they were eating everyone’s leftovers as they left. Yesterday’s visit… ordered salad bar two bites in hair in my salad! I’m done not going back.

The only reason why I order from here is because the other roundtable around here doesn’t deliver to East Palo Alto. We’ve ordered from them a few times now and we’ve never had an issue with the delivery guy coming into our complex and delivering our pizza at our doorstep. For some reason the last two times we had ordered from them we would have to walk out of our complex just to get our pizza. And both times they would have no change. We’ve always given them the benefit of the doubt but this time we’ve had enough because our latest issue was that not only did we have go outside of our complex once again but the deliver guy not only had no change but forgot our wings. We tried calling him back and he didn’t answer so we call the store. The guy who answered the phone said they forgot to put the wings in the bag and that the delivery guy would have to finish his route, go to the store and come back and deliver it back to us. They said it would take 20 mins. It’s been over an hour. I’m so done with this roundtable. —SIGNED A PISSEDOFFBITCH!

The only restaurant on University Avenue on a friday night that was totally empty. If you like Round Table this is a solid place. The salad bar was clean and well stocked, our pizza came out pretty quickly and it was standard Round Table quality. I was happy!

Food — 3⁄5. Standard Round table pizza… I was a fan of the pasta though, that was a nice surprise. Atmosphere — 3⁄5. Pretty old/grungy feel. Seems antiquated, and not in a charming way. Although it is nostalgic seeing the old arcade machines(remember Die Hard?) Location — 4⁄5. University ave. booya. Parking — 2⁄5. University ave. ugh.

Pros: — they prepare plates, napkins, cheese, & pepper in a plastic bag Cons: — $ 28 for a large pizza is pretty expensive for a mediocre chain — pizza was extremely burnt — delivery guy took forever — their parmesan garlic twists were disgusting and hard My first and last time trying round table. Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa John’s all weren’t able to deliver to my area so I had to settle for Round Table. I was disappointed with everything. I ended up paying over $ 40 for a large pizza and bread. I wouldn’t complain if it actually tasted good. I will never eat here again.

These guys do not know what Vegetarian mean. They served chicken when we specifically ordered vegetarian. Prior to order, we asked what the toppings were and there was no mention of chicken. Later Luis mentioned that it a vegetarian chicken ?? flat bread pizza. He said sorry shrugging his shoulder suggesting to say this is what it is. Overall rating zero stars.

Don’t know about the pizza, but the place is fantastic to have a quiet business meeting, if your partners don’t mind the non-fancy décor. There’s an extra-quiet area in the back, complete with a power outlet, and devoid of TVs. And you can exit through the back door if you feel ashamed of camping there without getting any pizza. Not that I didn’t get any pizza, of course.

This is a place where you can get good pizza, nothing more to expect there. It’s good, honest price, but nothing really special about it. If you’re looking for a place where you can quickly have good pizza, go there. If you want to be surprised, don’t.

They closed my local Round Table on California Avenue but brought the Tuesday night 50% off to the University Avenue location. Love the classic flavors of the King Arthur Supreme and appreciate a consistently good pizza at a great price with that Tuesday special. Applies to delivery too, which make up for the extra distance to the University Ave location.

Some things never change. I was seeking something easy and quick for lunch since my stomach was feelings a bit queasy this morning. After walking past University Café, I settled for Round Table Pizza when I saw their lunch specials that ranged from 11am to 4pm. There were specials for a personal pizza, a sub sandwich, and pizza with salads. Each of the specials came with a soda. When I went inside, the cashier was right in front. I told the guy I wanted the $ 4.99 special I saw on the sign outside. He said the personal pizza came with one topping and a soda. I agreed and picked the sausage topping. I gathered my Dr. Pepper soda and sat down in a booth. As I waited for my pizza, I observed the dining room. Instantly, it felt reminiscent of my high school freshman years due to the rundown dark carpet and wooden seating booths with orange and green cushioning. The place doesn’t look like it’s been updated since the early 80’s. Wood was not locked in together and I saw the rusty nails that held the wood collectively due to age, walls were off-white, and arcade games included Neo-Geo systems and a shoot-em-up Site 4 game. I only waited 10 mins for my personal sausage pizza to come out. When I saw it, it didn’t look fancy without any frills. It did look like something I could buy in Safeway’s frozen food section and microwave it myself. The plastic plate itself looked as old as the furniture I was sitting on. I took a bite and the tomato sauce burned my tongue. Silly me, but I was starving at 2:30pm. It was a plain old pizza and tasted exactly like a microwaved one and just as hot. It didn’t take me long to finish the entire pizza. I watched a bit of television on their old projection tv for a few minutes while I digested and then left. At least they had Comcast cable and no rabbit ears. As I left, I did notice the restaurant was spacious with another back room for larger groups and an upstairs room that was closed off. I smiled to the cashier and left. Overall, if you want something mundane and simple for lunch, this is the place for you. My total bill came to $ 5.45 and that’s considered cheap, but I should’ve went next door to Pizza My Heart for a heartier lunch. Lesson learned.

I agree this is just okay pizza, not great. I ordered here for the first time — 4 large pizzas to feed a crew of 6 people and was surprised at how thin the ingredients were. The crust was decently thin, but just ok in terms of taste. Ingredients tasted just ok too. If you’re looking for savory pizza, this is not it. Caution — Maui Zaui is very sweet pizza. It’s close, convenient and fast which is why I went.

I can’t believe this place is still around. This was hear when I first moved to Silicon Valley and lived in a studio apt down the street. It just keeps chugging along. It’s not the best pizza but I guess they understand the demographic because they sure have longevity.
