Awesome doctor with a great bedside manner. Makes you feel like he has all the time in the world for you in office visits. Stopped by to see me when I was in the emergency room. Explains things simply. Keeps up with the latest medical findings. Caring attitude. Calls you back personally when your lab results come in. Therefore all very surprising about an almost nonexistent treatment followup. My experience in being treated for non-life threatening but chronic conditions is that he’ll run the tests, refer you to specialists, provide the meds but then after the lab results come in, he goes radio silent. It’s up to you to follow up your treatment if you think your symptoms aren’t clearing up. Fine if you know how the treatment should go but not very supportive if you’re wondering if you need followup or are having a relapse. Again, Stuart is a great doctor that sets the standard for 1-on-1 care, and I’m grateful he’s my physician, but not quite concierge-level in course-of-treatment follow up. A shame since one more phone call could make him extraordinary.

Stuart is a fabulous doctor with great bedside manner. I have been a patient for years. He truly cares about me and my well-being. He and his staff are responsive to my calls, can schedule appointments quickly and make you feel like you are the only patient they have. Stuart has a great sense of humor and it is always a pleasure to see him. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I see Dr. Schlisserman and his colleagues for business but can tell he is an EXCELLENT doctor who makes good clinical decisions. He went to medical school at Stanford so it’s no wonder! He also truly cares about his patients and staff too. The cherry on top is that he’s VERY funny and down to earth.
