I would say that this was a great event. The owner was an awesome guy and was walking around talking to everyone. His effort to meet everyone and make everyone feel good made the event extremely successful in my eyes.

Great job at coordinating this UYE Randy. A free froyo event, where they even give seconds!!! Wowza…just…wowza. Props to Randy for setting this up, and props to Red Mango for hosting this event. I’m not a super big froyo fan, but I am a HUGE fan of Unilocalers and for an event like this, I’d brave 101 traffic any day of the week. Thanks guys, it was awesome! This is one cool hangout and you can bet I’ll be back again. PS. I’m not the runner I thought I was. A 6 year old beat me 5 out of 5 races…

I haven’t been around the Unilocal scene for a couple weeks, it was nice to come back to meet my Unilocaler buddies again. Yul Kwon and Ryan are super nice, and the free froyo was the best free stuff I ever put into my mouth. Had a medium pomegranate with mango and strawberry toppings. The pomegranate goes really well with froyo. Kudos to Yul and his young management team!

Free froyo for Unilocalers??? Wow! How cool is that? Thanks Randy F., Mark Young, and Yul Kwon! The Pomegranate froyo is YUMMY!!! I had it with crushed graham crackers on top and it was delicious. This was my first time at a Red Mango and I’m sure I will be back to this particular store. The store is very nice and cozy. There was window seating and tables and chairs all around. The highlight of the store is really the bathroo. Yes, I said the bathroom. It’s one of the nicest bathrooms I have ever seen! The basin was big and beautiful, the fixtures were lovely and the bathroom itself is roomy. The had tea lights along the mirror too which gave it a warmer feeling. But really, the shining glory of the bathroom is the hand dryer. A Dyson(yes, the people that make vacuum cleaners) hand dryer is probably one of the most amazing things I have seen. And it works!!! Seriously, my hands were totally dry before it shut off! You have to go try it! But please, make sure you buy some froyo first… it would be rude not to. I met some new Unilocalers that I had not met before… Hi Bobby, DoTheBob, and Ann! Cool! And I got to hang with my friends Testu, Dennis, and Eli! *muah* Love you guys! All in all another cool, fun UYE and it was very cool to meet Yul since I had watched him on Suvivor. He was super nice and a down to earth kind of guy. You can be sure I’ll be back!

hooray for free froyo!!! like ann said, big thanks to mark and yul and randy for making this happen. and another hooray for meeting even more local Unilocalers!(hi, y’all!) i will admit at first i was afraid all we were going to get were those mini cups with like a tablespoon of yogurt in there, but phew :) all ended up well as we got to order pretty much whatever. i had the new pomegranate flavor swirled with original tart – nom nom! with double mochi, of course(even nommier). i’ve been very reluctant to explore outside my only-original-tart-flavor comfort zone(the only other tart froyo flavor i’ve tried was green tea), but i think i’ll definitely be expanding my horizons a bit. yul and mark were extremely personable and seemed genuinely interested in what we as Unilocalers thought of the place. plus, yul was quite agile, showing off those skills he honed on survivor as he leapt and bounded up onto the counter to take our group picture. hehehe. nice. i will be heading up to roseville this weekend for TG with the fam and will be trying out their new store in the roseville mall. w00t w00t sacramento in the house!!!(or not.)

This was my first UYE and first at Red Mango! ahhahaha I know, I’m still a newbie in town and exploring. I enjoyed the pomegranate froyo the most. The flavor tasted better than the original and green tea. I got a small pom with mochi and pomegrante(thanks Yul for adding it on)!! Everyone was super friendly and Yul personally introduced himself to me and asked how my yogurt was. The décor of the store was nice and modern. Candles to set the mood! And yes, the bathroom hand dryer was very cool… haha Check out their restroom! 5 stars– I enjoyed my visit to Red Mango, meeting fellow Unilocalers, and of course the complimentary yogurt courtesy of Yul, Mark, and Randy! It was wonderful meeting you all! I can’t wait for the next Unilocal tasting at your store! I think you guys should have these more often!!! :D

This Red Mango event makes for the most fun UYE I’ve been to, to date! What a brilliant idea, pomegranate froyo – subtle, sweet, but not overly tart either! And to have complimentary cups, w00t! For my cup, I had a green tea froyo(my first time!) with granola. I commented to my fellow Unilocalers on how this froyo flavor had such a great balance, the natural tartness of the froyo and the controlled notes of the green tea both in harmony. Great to finally meet Ann L., as well as new Unilocaler friends Jonathan L., Randy F., among others(sorry, I’m on the brain dead side at this time of night!). And always great to hang out with Tetsu N.(just check out the picture I’m about to upload!)! Good times, good times. So, when’s the next UYE?

I love FREE Froyo and since Randy F. my Unilocal friend PMed me about the event I had to go. It was for Mon 11÷24÷08 from 5:30 — 6:30pm. I got a Medium pomegranate froyo w/blueberries, strawberries, & pomegranate seeds. Pretty good! I got to meet some familiar Unilocalers and new Unilocalers. Really fun. Big Thanks to Mark Young, Yul Kwon, & Randy F. Pics above.
