A representative from Midwest Laser came in to our office November 2015 offering laser toner for our printers. We discussed our toner needs and she sent a couple emails with prices. Unfortunately, we didn’t need any products at that time but she continued to follow up with our office roughly every 3– 4 weeks. We did inform her that we were not interested in the product at this time after comparing prices and discussing with our manager. She continued to call us every now and then, which is expected as we are too in a marketing type of business. However, Josie called again today and spoke with one of our representatives. She informed Josie that we are not interested in the product at this time but Josie interrupted and said«thanks» and ended call abruptly. Not knowing whether it was intentional or not our representative called Josie back and stated the following: «Hi Josie, was I just speaking with you, I’m calling from… I don’t know if you meant to or not but you hung up on me as I was talking and that wasn’t very kind of you. I just needed to mention that to you. Have a good day.» To which Josie replied, «You too b***h.» Being in a marketing business we understand that follow ups are important with a potential client, and even understand not accepting our objections. However, that is not grounds for using such vulgar language in any professional environment. Considering we have two locations and now go through ink quickly, we have decided to not consider Midwest Laser in the future. The lack of professionalism displayed by Josie is simply not be tolerated. Thanks, but no thanks Josie.
