Food was good, but the price was way too high for what I got. Maybe my tastes just aren’t good enough. I didn’t try any of the alcohols, which might be my problem.

Pretentious and way overpriced! I have been to a lot of gastropubs and craft beer bars. This one is by far the worst. The atmosphere and other Unilocal reviews had my hopes high for this place. When we walked in the hostess was no where to be found. Maybe we should have taken that as a clue. When we got seated, the beer selection overall was pretty impressive. The prices however were horrible. $ 7 min for a 10 Oz pour of a 5% beer… are you kidding me! There was no options for a regular pint of beer. It was that or a 32 Oz can(yes can!). They have a self canner, which I guess is cool except not when I am trying to have a beer with dinner. I continued to scan the beer list… they wanted to charge a max of $ 15 for a 10 oz beer… horrible. I was done after 1 beer. The service was poor also. The waitress was inattentive and clueless. She walked by our table multiple times without asking if we needed anything. My husband and I did the pretzels with beer cheese($ 2), cheese board and the beet, tomato, arugula and crab salad. The only thing that was up to the minimum standard of a gastropubs was the salad. It was fresh, unique and well crafted. The beer cheese was bland and in the smallest cup possible(I really paid $ 2 for THAT!). However, the worst thing was the cheese board, three large chunks of cheese but nothing interesting, munster, white cheddar, and an herb goat cheese. There was only one meat, deli salami. The olives were mushy and the grapes were rotten(obviously black with wholes). There was not enough bread. At no time did the waitress ask how things were. We left after one beer very disappointed. I think this place has a monopoly on craft beer in Panama city area. If there were any other options they would not be rated this highly. Lower your prices, offer normal size pints, and improve the quality and value of your food.

Such a disappointment. I was thrilled when I heard that Wine World was opening a Craft Bar in Pier Park North. Unfortunately, I’ve never been happy with the food, especially when you consider the prices. The beer selection is diverse and interesting, and the cocktails are okay. The atmosphere is generally nice, but very loud because of the high ceilings and lack of anything soft to absorb reverberation. For reference: The Tuna Burger wasn’t even a tuna fillet. Weird, overcooked, flavorless chopped tuna. The Craft Bar Burger was almost flavorless as well. It seemed like they forgot to season the patty at all. It was juicy though. The Hot Chicken was the best tasting thing I’ve eaten at Craft Bar, but they charge at least twice as much as they should for it(priced $ 22). The Catch of the Day was a tiny(maybe 5oz) fillet that was so overcooked that it was difficult to cut through with a fork. This dish, at $ 27, is also exorbitantly overpriced. I understand that the prices are based around attracting a higher-class clientele. I’m okay with that, and I’m happy to pay the prices if I can see the value in it. This place needs to shake off the pretentiousness and lower their prices, or they need to put some effort into making their food worth what they’re charging. I keep going back with hopes that something will change. I don’t think I will be returning again. The Craft Bar is a swing and a miss.

The food was pretty decent but the wait was ridiculous! We waited nearly 15 minutes just to even get menus and they were not busy at all. May try again but if the service is as bad then would not be back.

The atmosphere is lovely and the food is delicious but for what you are paying here the service should be amazing… far, far from it. 45 min wait for a salad. This is my forth visit and the service truly needs to be addressed!!!

Pleasant surprise for us on a rainy Tuesday night as we drove over from Seacrest Beach for dinner. From the outside it almost appeared closed but it was just the appearance I suppose. They could do something there to invite you in better I think. The outer room you walk through is also underwhelming with dark brown patio furniture. Once you hit the back room you finally start getting a good vibe of «Craft Bar». Nice vibe, lots of brick and wood and booze. Decent beer on tap menu and the ever changing chalkboard. Our server introduced herself and the fest was on. There were five of us and we had four of the signature cocktails and an IPA to start. My Smoked Old Fashioned was very tasty and had the iceberg cube in it. My second was the Gin Gin Mule and while it was ok, I liked my first one better. Everyone seemed to enjoy their choices and we got 9 different ones while here. The charcuterie plate at $ 14 was decent but our server did not inform us what type cheeses we had and the cured meat was a small amount of salami. Good but not great. Some kind of oil was in the plate too and we had no clue what it’s function was or the origin. The new salad with blackened shrimp and black eyed peas on arugula was simply outstanding and the whole table was trying to get into this one. The shrimp were very spicy, a good thing, and the cornbread croutons were a nice add. The creamy dressing had some andouille in it as well. The Cobb Or Chef salad was also good and very big, even in the smaller size. We had burgers, Snapper sandwich along with the handcut fries and these were all well above average. The Que and the Craft burger were our choices. This could go to 5 after another visit or two but the opening rating is a solid 3.5. Service was in the 4 plus range. We recommend this place.

Overpriced. We were seated in the front room with a giant tv playing an hour long infomercial. That was not the atmosphere I was looking for. Had the $ 22 grouper. I don’t think it was grouper. Service was not good when my glass sat empty for the longest time.

Service was not the best. The waitress was not knowledgeable about the beers on tap. The food was okay but the service seemed to be lacking. We don’t frequent Craft Bar due to the higher price and I expected more from the service. I defiantly think for being a bar specializing in craft beer that the servers would be more knowledgeable.

This was one of the best places we visited in PCB. The food was really on point and the drinks were spectacular, best Moscow Mule I’ve ever had. Burgers were great and the cheese plate was really nice. The location was only a few miles from the condo too… will definitely be back on our next visit!

This place reminds me of many pubs or bars you would find in Milwaukee. It is a nice change from the typical beach bars. The food is excellent and they have an excellent list of tap beers. Their unique mixed drinks are good too. Unfortunately not all of their bartenders make an Old Fashion the same. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name who worked last Wednesday evening but his was much better than the girl who worked earlier. Whiskey Wednesday is a good night to go. Their featured whiskey drinks are only $ 5.

After hearing some good reviews we decided to try it about 1 month ago. I got the sliders which were just ok, nothing great. My boyfriend got the fried chicken dinner which was $ 20 and the biggest piece of chicken was not cooked all the way and the rest of it was just ok as well. Nice atmosphere but will not be back for the food.

Nice set up, clean over all. Nice seats and tv’s Bar area gets loud but front room is quieter. Was open seating so we found a table was a few minutes before we seen a server so she informed us that they were short staffed and got us waters. There only appeared to be four people working floor, so service could of been better but they seamed to be doing the best they could besides cleaning empty tables as they went back and forth. By the time we was leaving there was six dirty tables around us. Onion rings were very oily. We ordered two burgers both ordered med. One came out well the other rare. Both needed salt pepper was very bland. Over all experience was just OK.

When I went here on Saturday night, I had to wait for drinks for around 20 minutes. I ordered the charcuterie plate and it came out 10 minutes before my drinks. The plate was almost gone by the time my sangria was delivered. I have been raving about this place for months but after this experience its hard for me to believe this place is what I thought it was. I had the New York strip special for dinner and it came out with gravy on it, which is not what I’d ever want on a quality cut steak. I had wanted a seafood special like I had tried the first time I went but they said they weren’t doing seafood specials and the only item available that was off menu was the steak. It felt like I was eating something from a Golden Corral with the gravy on it. Thoroughly disappointed and probably won’t be back.

Pulled pork with Williamson brothers sauce excellent; loved the craft made drink called Depeach mode. Service was also excellent. Sat outside with our dog who also received attention and service from staff. We enjoyed ourselves so much we returned two nights later. Their salads are also fresh, unique, and delicious!

Womp womp. This place missed their oh so desperate attempt to be trendy and hipster mark. Big time. The ambiance, style, and music upon entering gave me very high hopes, as did the reviews here. The exposed brick, chalkboard craft beer menu, and high prices really clashed with the giant TVs all displaying sports, plastic condiment cups/serveware and salt/pepper shakers. It just looked like they were cutting corners to save a buck but that most certainly did not reflect in their prices. The beer list is fairly extensive and unique. The pint and flight prices both were reasonable. I would return JUST to have some beers(and I guess watch a game). That is the sole reason for two, not one, stars. My dinner mate and I originally intended to eat dinner here. Before the drinks and appetizers were done, I made the decision that I would rather go home and eat instead of risking sub-par food, more terrible service, and spending ~$ 80-$ 100. So while I don’t typically review after only one visit, especially when I don’t try a variety of food, the experience was enough to prevent any thought of a return visit, so I’ll still share: The 2 servers that we interacted with were young and seemingly inexperienced. I requested a wine or beer rec and she suggested a Moscow Mule. Then she couldn’t remember my wine order. Mid-order sentence to my waitress, she stopped to talk to the other sever walking by about how scattered brained she was tonight. She reiterated that once again later as she sat down in the booth next to me to gather her thoughts. I ordered the cheese board along with my wine; it was placed down without any explanation of what the cheeses or accompaniments were. The wine arrived 20 minutes later, when the probably nicely pairing cheese(meh, it was okay… nothing special) was already gone. We were then told ‘it would be a while on the beer’. No explanation as to why pouring a beer(a flight of 4, so if they were out of one or even 2 or 3, that couldn’t be the excuse) would ‘be a while’. It was all very unprofessional. 30 minutes after first sitting down, my wine was gone, and my dinner mate finally got his beer. Check, please.

The best thing here is the drinks. Is a little pretentious for Panama City Beach, and falls short of delivering the quality food, service, atmosphere, and décor that you can tell it so desperately wants to achieve. The front of house girl was useless, she pulled her face when we didnt want to sit in the front part(that looks unfinished, and not even decorated. Then we weren’t acknowledged when we left, she was just stood using her phone. The drinks are great. The cocktails anyway. I believe there’s a guy there who actually enters mixing competitions, and takes his work seriously. If I had the budget for more of their $ 11 drinks, I would have tried more. The food was OK. Decent portion, well plated, and served quickly. I had the steak and frittes, which came rare, despite asking for medium-rare. Seems nit-picky, but when you pay these prices, I expect the steak to be cooked how I order it. I would go back though, I hear good things about other items on the menu I haven’t tried, and I am curious to try more of the cocktails. Definitely room for improvement. Could be great, but as-is, just above average for the area. P. S. I had to laugh at their efforts to be more trendy(décor /ambience /menu /prices) byt then show nothing but sports on all the TVs. That makes it look divey, and totally conflicts with their craft beer selection /chalkboard drinks menu. They need to pick an identity and stick with it.

Amazing difference from all things PCB! Felt like I was in a completely different city. An homage to pubs in cities with draws other than spring break and snowbirds. We came in for a very late lunch and happened upon happy hour. Pro — led us to try drinks we’d not have chosen otherwise(sorry Moscow mule, I’ll sample next time). Con — nada. Pepino del Benicio — light, refreshing with balanced citrus, cucumber and sweet…(delightful enough on a hot day to enjoy 2) Scorched Earth — smoked Rosemary in coupe was perfect with basil… Fish tacos — my favorite go to sample at various restaurants and these didn’t disappoint. Was definitely hungry and swimming and beach all day that I would have ordered more or an entrée size order. Snack size was perfect for sharing though Salad — it was at bottom of «Crops» section. Grilled romaine, hummus, grilled pita and added chicken(kitchen was gracious to amend order and add chicken per my friend’s request). Friend is picky and loved the meal, success in itself as she won’t eat at all if she finds anything it less than above average. Hailing from a state with the best beer in the nation, I was impressed by the craft selection and my beer snob friends would be overjoyed by this PCB pub.

Nice, accidental find across from Pier Park in a Strip Mall no less? Food was made from scratch down to the ketchup. Homemade fries were crispy(which is a rarity) and the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos were TODIEFOR! They’re on the appetizer list but the 3 served were ample as an entrée for me. I was pleased to find out that they weren’t serving Tilapia as most places do. If you like Pulled Pork Sandwiches, this is the place! Prices were very fair, cocktail menu was superb and the one craft beer that I he was delicious(Apricot Wheat). Very kid-friendly although it seemed that it was mostly adults enjoying themselves. I only wish that I would’ve found this place 2 trips ago to PCB!
