Their 3 for $ 10 breakfast special is the best thing about this place, it comes with unlimited garlic fried rice and coffee too. Their pork & chicken bbq are very good also, tasty n not dry. The rest of the menu are just ok.

I bought the Chicken tinola. Horrible! The chicken was in a separate container and it looked like undercooked chicken. The soup was separate also and it had only few pieces of spinach leaves. That’s it, no other ingredients. They make money out of this? Pilipino nga naman… Ang sungit pa nung cashier. ayusin nyo naman serbisyo nyo, wala kayo sa Pilipinas.

Grill City is Located inside the Seafood City Supermarket on Woodman Avenue. They specialize in Filipino food. There is the standard stuff here like sinigang, bar-b-Que on a stick, pancit, lechon kawaki, fried fish, dinoguan, and kare kare. I have eaten here a few times and every time I do it is the sake thing. The counter help is not friendly to me and the food is average to below. The place is clean and sanitary, and the food is properly cooked, it is just not that tasty compared to other places. This is shocking to me considering the number of Filipino customers they have. I suppose this is like a Filipino Dennys. You go there because it is what is close by, not for the fantastic food. This place is totally meh. There is Jolly Bee and Chow King nearby and those are usually my first pick.

I did not have a good experience here at all. Came by for a quick lunch since my mom was buying food inside Seafood City anyway. There was one person behind the counter who did not acknowledge my family until my mom said something. All the food looked like it hadn’t been touched for a few hours, but we were too hungry to care. Pork BBQ(4/$ 10): Delicious. Nicely marinated and cooked perfectly. I only ate one but could have easily eaten 5 more. Grilled Pork Liempo with soup($ 7.95): Marinated pork belly that had a strange marinate. I couldn’t place the taste on it but it wasn’t pleasant. The rice wasn’t fresh at all. Not a fan of the soup either. Grilled Pompano with shrimp soup($ 9.95): My mom seemed to enjoy it. Lechon($?): We got majority of the fatty bits and rarely any of the meat. Very oily. Every time I asked for something, like a bag or sauce, I was ignored and had to try to get the workers attentions multiple times. So I definitely won’t be coming back.

I like to pop in here for the chicken stick — it taste like barbecue chicken but it is absolutely delicious. I don’t like the wait, even when no one is in line, they move slow as molasses. I also haven’t tried anything else but it always smells so good when I run in the market. They are also a little pricey, the stick is $ 3 not sure if it’s worth it. But it’s TASTY!

They have the best lechon belly! I tried calling in my order for same day pick up but they don’t seem to answer their phone, so we walked in at 3pm to place our order. They were nice enough to accomodate us even if we placed the order too late(it takes about 5 hours to cook the lechon belly). Fast forward 5 hours, they even called us to let us know that our order is ready for pick up. The lechon was very juicy inside and crispy on the outside! It was just yummy!!! The sauce was a little too sweet though but really you can go without the sauce. I will definitely order again next time but I will order in advance next time

All of the food I’ve had here is consistently tasty, and I’ll keep going back. The only reason it’s not getting a five is because service is inconsistent, sometimes it’s friendly and quick, and other times slow and indifferent.

I love this place. The Filipino food here is delicious! My go-to is Pork BBQ and white rice and a small helping of Sinigang Na Baboy Soup. Yum! I love their Broth from the Sinigang. It reminds me of home when my late grandma used to cook this. Almost cried coz I missed her when I took a sip of the soup. My whole Filipino Family loves this place. They said that their Pork Liempo here tastes similar to the flavor in the Philippines! Try this place out. The cons of this place for me? Parking. This place is crowded in the parking lot. But the food is worth it.

This one’s located within Seafood City. Awesome Filipino food for reasonable prices! Most dishes are close to authentic because the taste is really close to how we all did it back home in the PH. Close, but not exactly. But it’s really cheap and for the price… you can’t beat it’s quality! Not bad at all. :) Another good thing is that they had a boba place beside it + Red Ribbon nearby. Yay. – FOOD: Grilled Liempo was AWESOMEEEE! I have no other words for this. Chicken BBQ was okay. It was a tad bit salty for my taste, but it should be okay for other people, I guess. Bangus Sisig was good. It didn’t really taste like what I had in mind. BUUUUUT it was a pleasant surprise since it tasted nice. It’s not really sisig but it’s a good tasting dish! The dish with Ampalaya(forgot what it was called) was really nice. Tasted pretty much like how everybody did it back home! Kare-kare was better than most of the other takeout places I’ve eaten at. It had generous amounts of beef chunks + ox tripe, yay!(other cheap Filipino takeout places use pork…)

My dad has been wanting to try this«new» place after hearing about it from an ad from a Filipino newspaper. So today I brought mom and dad here and it was a nice, new, clean place. You see someone grilling as you walk in and you see the various food trays, with a time it was put on display(some sort of health quality control I think). Parents had the tamarind chicken and soup, I had the pork barbecue and the squash and string beans medley. I was definitely full and folks liked the place. Nothing is cheap these days… evem Filipino places. Each combo was from $ 6-$ 7, two viands, one serving of rice. Much better than the other place in Northridge(or whereever that is). I’ll try it again.

Grill City is located inside the Seafood City Market. Had a quick lunch here. I’ve tried the Grill City in North Hills, and I liked it. Thought this one would be just as good. All I can say is that it was okay. Not as good as the branch in North Hills. Tried the Grilled Pampano fish with rice, Shrimp Sinigang, and 1 skewer of Chicken Bbq. The fish and rice did not taste fresh at all. The Bbq was good though. The shrimp sinigang was good also. The place was clean and service was fine as well. I’d probably try the place again. For now though, 3 stars.
