The seats are pretty dirty but the drinks are super strong for me so which i love. They always clean up my shrimp really good. The staff is great. And the mariachi guys are sweet, their voice is so nice. And the bathrooms although a bit outdated but ate pretty clean for the area.

LOL never again. Food was meh, it took forever to come out. The mariachi band was a little ratchet for my taste. Just no. This place is not necessary to attempt to go to.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been coming here for about 9 years now and it never gets old. Great food, great drinks from their mitcheladas to their mango margaritas. Great service! The owners Max and Alfredo are the sweetest, very welcoming and make sure that you have the best service they can offer. Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s they have live music (Mariachi and Banda) and they are great every time I come here they treat me lie a queen.

The food is pretty good. Some advice, check when the live music is scheduled because it can get pretty loud unless you like loud music? Overall a good place for mariscos and live music.

After a disappointing event at LA Sirenitas express, my BFF and I decided to try this location. The owner, Max, greeted us as soon as we walked in. We explained to him about our unfortunate event at the other store, and he said it was owned by his brother, and then he proceeded to take EXCELLENT care of us! He made food AND drink suggestions, And our meal was AMAZING! This will be our new go to for EXCELLENT Mexican food in the SFV. Thank you to the handsome and effervescent Max! You made our trip TOTALLY worth it!

WHAT HAPPENED? this place used to be the spot. Now your lucky if your limes are not bitter. So disappointed. Service was horrible. The beer was great. Or was it that we had to wait 40 min between rounds??? Mariachi was nice. But not coming back for awhile.

never came back becouse i order at fish grill but here buy cheap tilapia or cheap fish but too many spikes and i call the chiefto show the plate and he check my food and he stared to laugh if yuo any cuestion ask the chief an he know becose this happen sunday jan three time 1.45pm

This place has got to be the most f’en ghetto ass spot to spend a night in, the food is the worse. Service sucks ass, if you don’t pay attention to your tab, or orders the waitresses will add more things to your check at the end of the night. I believe prices go up for the night when the mariachi begins to play so these thieves will add things to your order. Consumers beware they will try to steal from you. Considering the location its in the owner should hire armed guards, one night i saw a poor kid who was the security guard almost get beat up cause there was a guy dancing with who i believe was his g/​f. I guess the guy didn’t take it well that the security guard told him to sit down and he wanted to fight the poor kid for doing his job. Ghetto, ghetto, ghetto, stay away from this hell hole!

Went here post hike with my cousins, it was around 8 – 9 pm and there were only a few people here. Everything taste good after a good workout but it was just okay.
Food:
We shared a couple dishes between the five of us. The chicken plate and the asada plate which both comes with beans and rice, the chicken mole plate and an asada burrito. Two of my cousins have been here before and they said the asada was good today, kinda gives me a bad vibe since that means they are inconsistent. Needless to say we destroyed that plate. The chicken was flavorful but was a bit on the dry side, need some tapatio. The chicken mole was a bit disappointing. It just tasted off and the chicken didn’t hold the flavor at all, not a fan of the mole here. The asada burrito was pretty standard but its hard to mess up that. Rice and beans were yummy. Servings were actually pretty good sized.
Service:
Very friendly service, our drinks were kept mostly filled the entire time and they split the bill for us without asking. Not the most clean looking place but it wasn’t dirty. Don’t expect it to be spotless.
Location:
Parking is a bit hectic even for that time. Don’t know what else is in the shared area but there were a bunch of cars. The lanes need to be repainted for sure. Exiting onto Nordoff is also crazy, you mostly have to wait for the red light to be able to turn out. Don’t even try a left.

Had a great first visit on a Wednesday afternoon. Max was greeting everyone and made me feel right at home. We were served chips and salsa immediately. And the salsa was superb.
We ordered a Cantarito for my wife and Michelada for me. Top marks for the Michelada; the Cantarito, not so much. We felt the $ 10.25 price for the Cantarito didn’t really match the drink at all. I hate to say it, but when you can get a good Cadillac Margarita (and I understand it’s not the same drink) for around $ 8 in other places, the Cantarito did really measure up.
The Micheladas, however were outstanding. As was the food.
We ordered a molcajete mixto, with steak, chicken and seafood. It was on the expensive side, but dear God, was it tasty and big. This thing was definitely enough to for three, maybe four, specially paired with the awesome chips and salsa.
Pros: great food, excellent chips and salsa, excellent Micheladas.
Cons: Cantaritos not worth the price, a little loud.
We will definitely be back, probably to see the Mariachi on the weekends.

Way bigger on the inside than it looks! I stopped by for a quick bite Saturday evening and just as I was about to leave, they brought a live band. Too bad I missed it. Anyways, the food was delicious. The fish ceviche was mouth-​watering and super healthy. I also had some Chile relleno; very cheesy, just how I like it. Friendly staff, cool place, I’ll stop by again for sure.

Was looking for the best michelada in town and was not disappointed. Can’t speak as to the food but if you are hung over or even if you just want a good michelada to drink I highly recommend the one here. The staff was friendly and fast.

If I could give 0 stars I would it give 0 I went there got a table sit for like 15 minutes no one went even to ask us if we waned something to drink we left and they didn’t even say anything what a service is that.

I don’t hate it but its a waste of money!
I used to come here all the time and stopped because the service got bad
I had agua Chile Verde with shrimp and ceviche and it was tasteless
They were not generous at all with the shrimp and octopus portion.
The octopus was very chewy like rubbery
Not spicy at all.
My 8yr old nephew order a cheeseburger. The patty was very small and the cheese had a strange after taste. Looked like county cheese. My nephew took a bit and left it behind.
I told the owner and his answer was I tried the octopus and that’s how its supposed to taste and he said that the cheese was also perfect.
They wouldnt bring us a different option. No reduction to the bill.
I will never go back there again

This place was trying to blow out my kids ear drums. Way too loud! Left after 20 minutes. Other than that the food seems good. Just don’t bring babies or kids here.

We came here for father’s day. We were a bit skeptical about the place. The décor could use improvement. The place was pretty busy since we went for dinner. We were asked to seat wherever we wanted upon entering the restaurant. Our waitress was nice and took time taking our order and repeated it back to us to make sure she had gotten it right. She constantly checked on us. The food was good as well as the serving portions. Our order consisted mostly of seafood and meats. We were satisfied with our visit.

Impressed…
This place has great service and great food. Only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the ambience isn’t exactly my style. It’s authentic and delicious. I ordered a shrimp cocktail which I have I say it was very tasty. I’m definitely a foodie and can tell immediately if I don’t like a dish.
I live walking distance from this restaurant and I will be visiting again. Hope to find more great restaurant like this one.

When you come to this place. Ask for VIRIDIANA. She rocks! Shes friendly, polite, and has a fabulous personality, and her smile just brightens your day., This place is clean, has tv’s and Spanish music. Very Alive environment.

Good place to hang out with either family or friends. They provide Mariachi and Banda on weekends. They serve good food and the best Micheladas in town! I would recommend to come early before the Mariachi and Banda comes in for good seating. I’m here almost every weekend. Staff is very friendly. Especially the manager, who will sometimes come around making sure if everything was up to par. I would recommend this to everyone!

Upon arrival to the restaurant there were three doors which did not indicate the door to go in to be seated. Since it was our first time we did not know which door was the one to be seated to eat in. We saw a line and asked the person in front of us what was the line for. He said it was to be seated. We were seated and ordered the Shrimp Ceviche. They gave us a good size portion for the price and it was very good.
If you like Horchata note that you do not get free refills an the weekends they have entertainment today was Mairachis and it can get very loud. So if you want a relaxing diner and quiet conversation, I would suggest not to eat in on the days that they have entertainment. You should take it to go.
