Initial consultation with Dr Jones was excellent. Although there was quite a long wait past my appointment time I was overall very pleased with everything. Receptionist was efficient and friendly as were the back office people. Dr Jones explained everything very clearly and listened to my questions and concerns. Although my appointment time was obviously over I never felt rushed or that he was in a big hurry to get me out, that meant a lot. Being in the medical profession myself I know appointments can run over and people aren’t always happy and the office staff want to get finished up but they never made me feel rushed. I am extremely pleased that I opted for a second opinion and was able to choose him as my orthopedic physician.

We saw Dr. Helmuth Jones in his Chico office on Raley Blvd. I took my mom to see Dr. Jones because of a problem she is having with her knee. We chose Dr. Jones because of his excellent reputation in the community.
After a quick x-​ray, Dr. Jones explained the problem and was able to discuss all the treatment options in a way that my mother could understand (he even drew a picture to help her «see» the problem). Though my mom was not excited to be told that ultimately she would need surgery to correct the issue, we both left feeling confident that he is highly skilled and will do a great job!
