They have the best sandwiches ever! If I could give it 10 000 000 000 stars, I would! Lol that’s how bomb they are!

I was craving argentine empanadas and I saw them on Unilocal.I usually get empanadas from Puerto Madero in Santa ana because YUMMMM, but we moved to cypress and I didn’t feel like driving to Santa ana on a Monday afternoon.
It’s a small storefront. The lady was very sweet and helpful. We ordered 4 each of the ham n cheese, beef and chicken. I also bought some sandwich de miga because I love those things.
The food was subpar and not as flavorful as I would have liked. They were also small for the price I paid. I think next time I will make the drive to Santa ana because I feel like I get what I pay for. Neither location is in the most attractive place, but this was the first time I was harassed by a person for money while I had my toddler and mother there with me. This man followed me to my car lol. I seriously didn’t have any cash on me… maybe I’ll bring pepper spray next time? Idl. Anyways, drive to Puerto madero for your money’s worth!

I got 2 dozen Empanadas for a tailgate party. Everyone loved them. I got 12 Beef, 12 spinach. They open 7am and I preordered. They were ready on time. I’ve also come for the morning pastries to share at the office. Nice folks, love seeing these independent owners thrive.

El Sanguchetto is a fusion Argentine/​Italian deli bakery. Soup and sandwich were great and service was friendly. You wouldn’t be disappointed to take someone here for a low budget fun date for some interesting food.

El Sanguchetto is a small Argentine bakery in a plain-​looking plaza. I don’t frequent this area, nor would I stop by if I were hungry for a sandwhich, but my husband and his friends like this place and they rave about the food here.
They have a small section with bakery items. Grab a tray and pay per piece (80 cents). They also sell pasta, sandwiches and other items like empanadas. You can order at the front and eat there, but people mainly get the food to-​go (prob because there is no A/​C and it gets hot). Their milanesa is huge! No joke it is like a foot long. The breaded meat comes with mashed potatoes, but you also get complimentary bread with chimichurri sauce. I liked their spinach empanadas and they tasted way better than El Gaucho’s, but their chicken one was dry.
Overall, it was a good meal though nothing I’d urgently drive to Paramount for. Note that there are parking spots marked for the bakery. The others are for the salon next door.

The facturas are delicious! Also love the sandwiches de miga! This place can’t be passed up.

A great and rare gym. ITs difficult to find an authentic bakery serving specialties from Argentina. There Empanadas are fantastic and so are there sandwiches. Staff is very friendly.

I’d hardly call this place authentic. Ordered every single empanada on the menu and they all came up below average! They were all bland and lacked the seasoning Argentinian cuisine is famous for! The dough was thick and inconsistent. Normally empanadas are folded differently to differentiate but not these they were all the same. Plus They’re all thrown in a pizza box unmarked. My kids have made better empanadas — seriously! I also bought two trays of Sandwiches de Miga and one tray of facturas. These were okay but I quickly put together these get delivered and aren’t fresh from the restaurant. Sadly, coming to realize something was wrong I asked waitress what part of Argentina the owners were from and she burst out laughing saying, they were from Michoacan (Mexico), but they got the recipes from an Argentinian — Not that this matters, But I must admit it added a little more to my disappointment. For authentic empanadas I usually go to Catalina’s Market on Western Ave. they’re amazing.

You have try this place if you’re in the mood for a really delicious and nicely priced sandwich.
I didn’t wanna go the GMO route n eat subway so I found this place based on reviews& locality. Glad I did!
Sure, there may be a deli across the street but they cannot compete with the soft, fresh-​baked bread, the generous portions of deli meats in my sandwich and the pleasant lil ol’ man that works there. Try it!!!

I tried their chicken, spinach and their beef empanadas today. They were as good as I ever had. Fresh and straight out of the oven.

First time trying Argentine empanadas and they are GOOD!!! The man who helped me at the counter was very nice and helpful in other words the service was great. I didn’t try anything else but I will be back for sure. The bakery hours are really convenient (opens early). I luv to support local businesses and I definitely recommend this one. I’m sure you won’t be sorry!!!

I live this place it’s kind of small yet so good I love the Ham and cheese empanadas and the sandwiches. They also has some pizza and fries for like children

They didn’t have any hot meals today because I think their stove was broken. disappointed

Not bad. Just average. Milanesa sandwhuch was disappointing. Empanadas were solid. Deserts were good but nothing exceptional

They could be a good bakery even in Buenos Aires. Bread, facturas (pastries) and sandwich de miga (thin crust-​less sandwich) are excellent.
Never tried parrillada (grilled meat) but the large milanesa sandwich is huge and tasty.
Also, you can watch [Argentine] soccer all the time :-)

Until I make way to Argentina, El Sanguchetto Bakery is plenty sufficient for me.
FOOD
Milanesa, empanadas y inca kola! Give me more! I love their bread and their empanadas make me want to do the empanada dance. Don’t ask.
SERVICE
I got here close to closing (sorry) but they didn’t rush me and told me to take my time. The lady who took my order was very nice and didn’t laugh when I slaughtered her language with my white girl accent.
Great place to grab a quick bite and watch some Telemundo. I’ll be back soon.

My boss has been bringing us yummy goodies from this bakery since we moved to our new location in paramount. From the sweet bread to the empanadas it’s oh so good. I ordered a dozen to bring to my bfs birthday party and it was a total hit! A dozen for only $ 16. they have a ham and cheese filling, ground beef, chicken, and spinach with cheese. The empanadas are baked and the dough is light and airy. I have yet to try their sandwiches but that’s my next stop!

The best of this place are the FACTURAS! They resell to other Argentinian places and native Argentinean can tell that these are really good!!!

Total mom and pop spot, nothing fancy about this place but thats what I love about it! I found this place on Unilocal and originally came to try the empanadas. They don’t have a wide variety of them like other spots I’ve been to but thats because thats not what there specialty is. I ended up ordering the Parillada for two and WOW! Was there a whole lot of meat! great cuts and high quality and reasonably priced at that. I am totally recommending this gem to my meat lover friends: D

and then there’s El Sanguchetto’s MILANESA SANDWICH — leading the pack!
I had a craving for a breakfast-​into-​lunch type sandwich that would fill my appetite until a big dinner later on that night. Fast-​food and chain restaurants were not on the menu this late morning. I thought of the many choices I had between Downey and Paramount, where I had to run an errand. Deli after deli, café shops after café shops… Until finally, I was in the direct vicinity of El Sanguchetto; and I locked in.
Their menu is pretty diverse in the different foods you could munch on throughout the day. But one particular section that was calling my name were the sandwiches. Particularly the MILANESA Sandwich.
They had regular and large. But let me say their regular is not your typical Subway 6-​inch sub v. the ‘footlong’…oh nooo… the regular is more of a footlong and the Large is basically a loaf baguette.
ahhh Baguette… they back their own bread in this place, so you get it just right.
The milanesa is a nice slab of steak… thin enough to digest it as a lunch item, but breaded enough to fill you and not make you stuffed. It comes with lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese, and a light mayo spread that doesn’t drown the bread. How could you, the bread is probably the second best part of it, next to the Milanesa, itself.
All for either $ 5 (for Reg) and $ 7 (for Large).
Add to the mix a 42 inch screen plasma showing the morning futbol games, and a ‘PASTELERIA’ /​pastry display that allows you the reach of adding freshly baked sweets, if need be.
