La Bella Roma Pizzeria

Have not eaten at La Bella in 2 years. Last time I was there, I ordered up an Italian hero. I kid you not, but the hero consisted of 2 slices of meat and about a pound of lettuce. You know what it means when you botch making an Italian hero? It’s called FALLING THE FUCK ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL! WAKE UP LA BELLA, WAKE UP!!!
Congratulations, you’ve reached Major League Chump Buster status.

Love this place. Pizza is great and so r the paninis. I love their moz sticks.
Cons: sometimes the plain pie has way too much cheese for my taste, ordered delivery of the mussels one time and they tasted really fishy.
Still order from here frequently and love it (I just would be get the mussels)

Best pizza around! Have been coming here for years. Soups and chicken parm are also great.

One of the best place in entire Bergen County. You must try, great variety, pizza, salad and Italian food.

The Story: This is my *GO TO* pizza spot! It’s so close to both my work and home. I go there, my boss goes there, all my co worker goes there. Only time I don’t go there is if someone offers me free pizza from somewhere else (hey you can’t blame me for that one)
Food: Their white pizza is amazing. Cesar Salad and Strombolis are HUGE. I love their Chicken fingers and fries and pasta with white clam sauce. They also have specialty pizza by the slice if you go there.
Price: Everything is fairly priced. Specialty slices run from $ 2.50-$ 3.00s. Good place for lunch if you’re broke (ie. the day before pay day lol jk)
Décor: Cozy dining room. Fits maybe 20 people.
Service: Staff is always friendly. Girls who take the orders are oh so nice and sweet. Vito and I want to say Nick (?) who makes the pizzas are always very friendly as well.
Parking & Finding the Place: Easy to spot but the parking lot is tricky. Very hard to park during peak holiday season. (that mall traffic)
Additional Thoughts: Come here. you won’t regret it.

Good pizza, it’s hard to find good pizza in MD. I was driving up north and find this was right off the highway. I got a slice of pain cheese and a mac and cheese slice with a can of soda. I think that may have been around $ 6. Really good pizza, greasy, crunchy but soft and chewy.
I knocked a star off because it is a small space at the counter, but it’s not a big deal. 4.5 star place really.

Called in for delivery, they managed to deliver within 45 minutes on a busy weekend. Friendly service, as well.
Had the Bella Roma pizza. Best pizza in my area, and best pizza I’ve had in a while. It is a bit pricier, but it is reflected in the difference in quality. I prefer this over the other options that are close to me so I will definitely be going back–

Bella Roma is the best Italian pizzeria in Bergen County! Their penne vodka, eggplant rollatini, and rice balls are award winning. Oh… and their white slice… you.must.try!

I order from this pizzeria all the time and they deliver to us. Everything this 1 girl answers the phone I order the same thing, she immediately says it’s a $ 20 minimum. I said I order the same thing all the time. The pizza is $ 14.95 plus tax and they charge a delivery fee and they think they can be picky. Well the good isn’t that good. We now have a new pizzeria. I suggest Everyone be aware and boycott. It’s not like their the greatest pizzeria in the area.

Pizza is the best I’ve had in NJ. I grew up in the Bronx so I’m a pizza snob but this place is good.
Only issue I have is they only have one phone line and if you call to order you could be dialing repeatedly for 15 minutes.

I love Bella Roma, they have friendly staff and when it comes to salads they never disappointed me. I usually get Buffalo Chicken Salad, it’s a little spicy and it comes with blue cheese but instead i get oil and vinegar, which i like to think is healthier. I never tried pizza from Bella, i cant comment on that.

My young family decided to come for dinner based solely on Unilocal reviews — La Bella Roma did not disappoint. We brought our own wine and were greeted by Mario who cracked it open and immediately brought wine glasses. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. Ordered a medium Margherita and a Grandma Pizza — both were terrific and we had enough to take home for a whole other meal. Couldn’t get over the variety of items on the menu — impressive. Might want to try the panini next time if I can tear myself away from the pizza. Loved the cozy feel inside. We’ll be back!

Love la Bella. Everything I’ve eaten from pizza, penne, wraps, salads, soups, sandwiches and my favorite, chicken rolls, are all delicious. I have moved out of nj but every time I visit, I make it a point to get a slice and a chicken roll at some point. Very nice pizzeria and now they deliver (which I’m sad about because they started that after I moved away)! Won’t be disappointed if you eat here.

So good the first time we had to circle back before we left town. This time just for pizza. And it’s not just pizza. Fabulous pizza and service. Makes me want to move back east

Ordered delivery for my coworkers and I about a week ago. Order came fast and hot, so the delivery aspect was perfect. The pizzas we got were perfect sauce/​cheese ratio and the crust was awesome! I’ve never ordered from here before, so I was happy everything worked out for a group of about 10 coworkers.
The other thing that just sealed the deal was a mishap on my part when I accidentally added the tip incorrectly. I was tired (my coworkers and I were doing an overnight shift!) so I added an extra 10 dollars into the total, even though the actual tip was $ 8. I called the next day to ask if there was any chance of fixing it, which to my surprise, they were totally understanding! The girl gave my name and number to the manager and my credit card charge was for the amount it should have been. Not only great pizza, but genuine customer service as well. Being a retail manager myself, I commend them for their honesty and genuine customer service!

One of the best pizzas ever! And nicest staff. Clean dining area, clean bathrooms — everything about this place was magnificent!
On top of all this last time my girlfriend and I ate here, we only got 3 slices into our pie when it accidentally slid off the tray and landed on the floor. They just said «no worries» and made us a new pie! Now that’s how you create long term regulars.

Close to our office, we love coming here for quick and easy lunches. The food is always on-​point and the pizza is really good. Lots of variety with toppings and they always have several different types of pies to choose from, ready to be heated and eaten.
Their Margharita pizza is very good. I also really like theri veggie panini– they take hero bread and slice it down to make nice thin bread to top with eggplant and other veggies. The panini is nice and crunchy on the outside and just the right combo of squishy (lol) on the inside.
The other sandwiches I’ve seen my co-​workers get have looked great also. The portions are big, so usually a panini from there means I have lunch for two days.
The staff are friendly also. There’s an area to sit down and they bring the food out to you after you’ve ordered at the counter.

Best pizza place in Paramus. All their food is really good. Honorable mentions: mussels marinara, penne vodka and the grandma pie.
I’ve been coming here for pizza all my life. This is my family’s go to pizza place and will be forever. Really nice and friendly staff and excellent food.

Oh I just love east coast pizza, there is no comparison! Food here is amazing. We had pizza by the slice, a salad, and garlic knots. The pizza is perfect– huge NY style slices! The white pizza is AMAZING, super cheesy so if you aren’t a big cheese fan don’t go with this option. The regular cheese slice is also great– the perfect fix to any pizza craving. Their bottled local root beer is a great compliment to your meal. Service was very nice as well.

This Pizzeria is about five blocks from my office. I find the pizza to be outstanding (⁸⁄₁₀) when I actually go inside and sit down and order slices, However on the few occasions when we have ordered several pizzas to pick-​up for meetings the quality drastically decreased (⁵⁄₁₀). I don’t get it… It’s like a totally different pizza!
Because of the variance in quality I’m going to rate them three stars. If the pick-​up pizza was as good as the dine-​in pizza I would rate them four stars.
Stick to ordering slices from within their pizzeria for a positive experience!
