T J Maxx

This store is a mess, I’m going to keep this one short.
If you plan to come in on a Saturday, plan accordingly. I waited 37 minutes (timed) to make a 20 dollar return. This place is an absolutely mad house, the staff here need serious help.
Also, why do I feel like I’m going through a garage sale when I’m trying to check out… Three long waves of cheap gimmicky as seen on tv junk while you wait for almost 40 minutes on line.
Absolutely mind boggling, find somewhere else to go

What is the craze about this place? Every piece of clothing here has imperfections… Ex stains, rips, or irregular cuts! What a joke! The prices are not nearly as good as people make them sound. Do yourself a favor and shop at Lord and Taylor’s clearance rack. The clothing isn’t damaged and the prices are more fair. Not to mention the whole experience at this place is subpar… The dressing room attendants treat customers like they are all thieves!
Avoid at all costs…

I love TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores. This is one of the better stores in the area, they always have a good selection. i’ve had better luck in this location then and several others. My one complaint is that often when I’m in here it is been very hot. I’m not sure if it’s been a temporary thing, a problem with the heat. But the temperature has been up very high in the store, so much so that I’ve had to leave before I wanted to because I started to feel sick. I hope they fix that, so I can spend more time browsing in here. this is definitely store to check out if you’re in the area.

I’m a maxinista!!! Gourmet food and the dog accessories are what I go fer… They have greenies for $ 12.99, $ 7 off of Petco prices.

I’ve been this TJ Maxx a few times (I prefer to go to the one in Westwood) and I do like the selection of items here. They have a lot of bags and shoes that I don’t usually see in other TJ Maxx locations and I also like their phone case selection. The only gripe I have about this store is the organization. A lot of things sections are messy and it makes it harder to look for things. They had a few Frye boots in their shoe section that were really cute and the price was phenomenal but the shoes were all in disarray and I spotted a box that had my size listed on the outside, but once I opened the box, it was the wrong size I also understand that the disorganization might also be due to customers not putting things back in the right place, so it’s not entirely the store’s fault.
Another complaint that I have is the temperature in the store — it has been blazing hot the past few times I’ve been here. Not sure if it’s me or the store. Waiting on a long line while sweating is never ideal.
I guess there is a lot of give & take — I’ve been successful in finding great shoes and a few clothing items here so I will be coming back but I hope they fix the few problems that they have.

This is the best TJ out there, always easy to shop, the most items and the nicest employees! got to love the way the Management team runs this store

My go-​to TJ Maxx. Usually good finds. Organized and well stocked.

This is a really good one. They have designers like kate spade and tory burch. Bought a beautiful pair of frye boots here for less than half the original price. Really big bag selection. Probably one of my favorite tj stores.

This is one of the better TJ’s. I go out of my way to shop here. I always find it easy to shop here its usualy. Clean and spacious. Dont shop here on a Saturday its way to crowded! This store has the higher end goods and the staff is always helpful.

This is a HUGE TJs, located above a Bed Bath and Beyond.
The merchandise here is varied and not always organized. Its varied as they cater to the local area, which has many affluent people and just as many not as affluent, so they have different types and levels of things.
I don’t find this to be the cleanest or best organized TJs I frequent, but it probably has the most varied selection options.
Also here are BBB, and Fairway, and Best Buy, so its a useful mall in that respect.
Parking here is not terrific, but it is right off Route 17 North, and that’s easy.

It’s located in fashion center 2^nd floor. It’s spacey and well organized, loved huge section of home goods. Very clean and not too crowded. Staffs were too busy to fix the massive merchandise, couldn’t help what I was looking for. But still it’s good place to shop. Personally I think this is the one of the nice TJ max around this area.

9:30 am doors open and I’m first.
9:30 am = Merchandise is organized
9:30 am = staff is friendly if somewhat asleep.
9:31 am = I’m first one on line at the register.
Good sized store but not one of the more upscale TJ’s and it didn’t feel like they had that much of an assortment. I didn’t find what I was looking for but got a really pretty blouse that I love although not an an excellent TJ steal price either.
Don’t think I’ll be back.

My typical go to TJ Maxx, the variety’s def getting better here. I scored a soft leather COACH bag at a great deal, among other name brands. The brands are getting better. I see Jessica Simpson and COACH shoes. The store’s definitely messy and you gotta search for the bargains, but they’re there.

Like many discount department stores, you can find some great deals here, but you will have to do some searching. Located at The Fashion Center, one of Paramus’ smaller shopping malls, T.J. Maxx is not as crowded as other stores in town and has some great bargains.
