Dr. Zhu can get any injury out, whether it be a muscle pull, pinched nerve, etc. out with ease. I live in Stamford now, but still come to Dr. Zhu for my acupuncture.

I have debilitating migraines and now that I am pregnant I am unable to take medication. One day I was in extreme pain, and on a recommendation of my mom’s friend, I went to see Dr. Zhu. He was extremely attentive and concerned. Before any acupuncture he asked about my medical history and took my blood pressure. Then he explained where the needles would be inserted by touching each area of my head, face, neck, hand, arm and foot. He reassured me the areas he would use were safe for pregnancy. After sterilizing the areas he began his treatment. I am not a fan of needles, but desperate times call for desperate measures… hahaha. He put soft music on, dimmed the lights, put a heat lamp on my feet and covered me with a blanket/​towel to keep me warm and comfortable. He checked on me a few times, and after about 20 – 30 minutes he removed the needles, cleaned the sites and used massage and acupressure to continue the healing process, that felt soooo good. I felt normal again! He then asked if I had extra time, because he wanted me to lay on my stomach so he could treat my neck and back where he said most migraines originate from. I happily agreed. I was there 2 hours because of his attentiveness and concern. I continue to go to him for his compassion and knowledge. After talking with him, I found out his whole family practices acupuncture… He is a gem.
His treatment was $ 70 and I had to submit it to my insurance for reimbursement, as he does not handle claims.
