Hobby Lobby

This is the local branch of the craft store chain. The people are nice and the store well maintained. The only thing I knock them for is the plethora of overly religious junk which represents the corporate owners view.
I just don’t know what «God Bless» and «Jesus Saves» knickknacks represent when made in China by ill treated and severely underpaid labor means? Just about everything in the store is made in China which is in itself unappealing. But I would respect the religious products if Hobby Lobby made an effort to stock crafts made by U.S. based Church groups for fundraising. And if such resources don’t exist, then it is a perfect opportunity for corporate Hobby Lobby to make a difference and create positive social change. Religious crafts and holiday decorations made by U.S. Church groups and raw materials from China (unfortunately unavoidable) would be a winning product mix that many would respect.
As the store exists today — pfpfpfpfpf. They provide local employment so I will not outright boycott them. But if I have the time I’d just as soon order my Chinese made junk from Amazon.

LOVE THIS STORE!!! Besides decorations they have a great fabric department with a great selection of fabric types and reasonable prices. They always run sales that help immensely. Friendly staff too!

I will not support any organization that has no respect for women and a woman’s right to choose. You’ll never see any business from me. And I promise to work actively to get others to do the same.
