What a random, but great place! Thanks to Unilocal,we decided to check this out because otherwise we never would have stopped in the visitor center. Though we didn’t plan on coming in twice, due to the town of Park City being so busy with Sundance, we had two great and quick pre-skiing(avant-ski, if you will) breakfasts here. We were in at around 8:30 on both mornings and the place was about 80% full… mostly with people either working on their laptops or having meetings over coffee. On both visits, my husband and I decided to split the breakfast sandwich and donut. The breakfast sandwiches are made to order so they are fresh and tasty. The first day we had it on an asiago bagel and the second on a ciabatta roll. The latter was my personal favorite. The donuts were big and fresh and of the«old-fashioned» cake variety. On the first day, I ordered a hot chocolate and paid extra for the«nicer» version where they use real chocolate(I can’t remember the brand name right now), but I liked the regular ol’ Ghirardeli syrup hot chocolate I had on the second day much more. So if you’re on the fence: I’d stick with the classic and save the 50 cents! The space itself is big and bright thanks to the floor to ceiling windows that serve as the walls. Even if you’re just stopping in for a coffee to go, you get to enjoy some fantastic mountain views. Service was super friendly. Parking was easy to find in the lot. Convenient location right off of the main road and close to the slopes. Biggest bummer: no Hugo sightings either day!

I love this local coffee spot so much that I’m inspired to write my first review for Unilocal.Try their Nitro brew, it’s presented like a pint of Guinness, but it’s 100% coffee. Totally worth a visit.

Bright, dog friendly and best nitro coffee I’ve had! Best served in their chilled glasses and enjoyed there! Highly recommend before enjoying the day in park city! Purchased a few bags of beans, loved their roasts!

Just the place I was looking for in PC: good eats, bevs, and a comfortable, yet social place to get some work done. Had the Hugo Turkey Sandwich, paleo banana bread, and a large green tea. All were prepared well by friendly staff. A great idea to combine the coffee shop with the tourist bureau! Thank you!

Very cute café. Stopped in on a Monday afternoon for a coffee break. Ordered and they took my credit card, then told me she had 12 drinks ahead of me and it would be about 20 minutes. I asked if she would just cancel the transaction and she said she didn’t have time. This place has a lot of potential… I’d just recommend some additional training for the employees

Ordered a café breve and a donut. Coffee was very acidic, and the half-and-half wasn’t organic. The sprinkle donut was like an old-fashioned with icing. No better than Dunkin Donuts. Tons of noisy kids running around. Meh. Nothing special about this place. Couches and chairs are comfy, but who can concentrate with screaming kids?

Great coffee… fresh baked goods and friendly service This is a great place to get your morning coffee and plan your day of adventure in Park City… it is located in the visitor center so you can learn about all the great activities to do in town. Be warned that they can be very very slow and it can take a while to get your smoothies or food. The cold brew coffee is AWESOME!

Didn’t stop at Hugo, but the staff welcomed me warmly. The visitor center/info staff was a delight. I’m new to the area and have a dog. Yet PC doesn’t have much for dog trails that are clearly marked. The visitor staff was very helpful, gave me plenty of options to hike both with and without my dog, and a few little hidden local secret spots too! Thanks!

I drink Bulletproof coffee daily, and I’m simply writing this review to tell people out there that the BP coffee served at Hugo is not a true representation of what it tastes like when made properly. A teaspoon of butter and dab of coconut oil doesn’t not make BP coffee. Real BP coffee has 2 – 4TBSP of grass-fed butter and MCT oil(flavorless). Add stevia for sweetness. What I got was coconut flavored coffee with almost no butter whatsoever. It was still very dark. Should be blonde in color. Make it at home. You’ll love it. I do applaud Hugo’s for being the first around SLC to attempt paleo options.

I have been to Hugo a few times and have absolutely loved every experience. It is in a really neat visitors center building, so you can enjoy your meal while looking through some brochures for local businesses(always a plus!) The coffee and food are excellent, a lot of options for people with dietary restrictions and the owner and employees are always willing to help you figure out what to order. I highly recommend anyone to stop by, their gluten free breakfast sandwich paired with an iced coffee is a fantastic duo!

The coffee was good. They should not offer sandwiches if it takes them 38 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. The Brie and turkey sandwich was not very flavorful. Three people back there were much more concerned with making a moderate traffic of coffee orders instead of finishing 2 sandwiches that were nothing complicated. The kid making sandwiches seemed very unsure how to do things. Bottom line, stick to the coffee and baked goods and you should be fine. They should not offer hot sandwiches if they can’t make them in a reasonable time.

Coffee from pump dispensers wasn’t very fresh, as if the dispensers needed cleaning. Didn’t try anything else.

Love this place! Incredible food that welcomes paleo, vegan and vegetarians. Excellent coffee! Try the Bullet Proof — SOGOOD. Amazing, sun filled place to chill. I love this women’s story too. She was a lawyer from NYC who wanted to open a shop in the mountains. Really great vibes!!!
