i wish you could chose zero stars! i came to this salon with a gift certificate that i won. this was the most horrifying haircut you can imagine. i started with primarily one length hair, well below my shoulders. i asked for bangs and she said she would «clean it up». i ended up with the worst layers, chopped at my ears and it unevenly tapers to a fringe at the nape of my neck. it looks like some one chopped off my pony tail, but was trying to make me look like joan jet. my regular stylist, gasped when she saw me. Do Not make my same mistake by going here!

There was a coupon out for 50% off hair services, and being new to the area and not knowing where to go, I decided to go here to get my hair trimmed. The salon was renovated recently and there’s a modern and inviting awning on the front door. From what I can gather, the place had been there for a long time, and the customers inside were of an «older» community. When I arrived, I received a «never-​seen-​you-​here-​before» look, and from my hair stylist, I think she was afraid that I would say «I want a new look.»
Janette, the hair stylist, was a nice enough lady, but her skill set is short. My hair was about 4−5″ below the shoulders, I just wanted a trim, and she put «layers» that looked like steps and cut about 2 inches instead of the little amount she made with her index finger and thumb.
I tried fixing it myself when I got home, but it’s a disaster. I don’t get how these ladies stay in business, but realized, their clientele is made up of older ladies who’s had the same «textbook» cut for decades.
I will never return here. I told Janette she did a great job, but to be honest, I was afraid to say anything in case she wanted to «fix» it. If you’re looking for people who KNOW how to cut hair (like it’s their talent or gift), do not go here. Leave the business for the regulars. By the way, I think their level of skill is about Hair Cuttery or Borics and they charge $ 48, which is completely OUTRAGEOUS. I was fooled by their awning. I miss my hair stylist back from my home town… she just KNEW hair and charged $ 35.
