Stopped in for a quick drink since we were too early for a dinner party. It was cozy and comfortable and a place I could call my «Cheers» if I lived closer.

This place is generally OK. It’s really a local bar with some food, which is fine. We didn’t come at a very busy time(around 6 pm on a Friday) and didn’t wait long to be seated. It was also quieter than expected which was a nice surprise. We ordered the cheese quesadillas for an app, and they were OK – just a bunch of onions, tomatoes and cheese and the actual tortilla was slightly hard. I ordered the portabella burger and it had a lot of stuff on it like pesto, big pieces of onion, mozzarrella tomato… portions were very big. It came with fries. They don’t make everything on the premises like the veggie burger which is just frozen Morningstar burgers. They also don’t make the pies or desserts. For what it is, regular bar food it is good enough. The décor is nothing special either. The service was what we wanted; she checked on us a few times and brought the food in a timely fashion.

Nice local, rustic looking restaurant. They have a big bar with tv’s and outdoor seating. They have good sandwiches and salads, always post blackboard specials. Good place to run to and be casual with plenty of parking.

The atmosphere is okay and the waitress was decent enough, but the service was very slow and the food was terrible. I ordered a sandwich and the tomato was soggy and tasteless. I asked for a side of mayo when I ordered and of course I had to ask a second time for it. I can see why this place doesn’t get many good reviews. The other servers were women who looked like they wanted to jump off a cliff, which makes for a pretty unpleasant experience.

Drinks seem expensive and food is mediocre at best. Burger came with no salad and a soggy, plain bun. Tasteless. Wings were better but nothing special.

Ok. We tried again. Miracle of miracles, the woman who gave us a table actually smiled and greeted us. Then I woke up.(Just kidding.) It began pleasant enough but went completely downhill from there. I know the menu so I wasn’t expecting much. As usual, the service was cold. I watched our waitress standing behind a glass partition chatting away with another waitress while we waited endlessly for the food. The CLT with bacon was dry and the calamari was rubbery. Wrong fries as usual. Endless wait for correction. We actually waited ten minutes for the check and another ten minutes for its return. Wake up, Dean. Your terrible rep is becoming common knowledge. Stay away from this so-called restaurant unless you’re into torturously slow and rude service and food that is yucksville.

Happy house is basically all night and offers great wing and bar pies. The regular menu has stayed the same for quite some years and could use a little more options. One of my fav places to go, really and take down a dozen wings and a cold one

The food is a little inconsistent in my opinion(sometimes it takes so long for food to make its way out to the table), and burgers may be cooked past specifications or fries may be cold. The menu here is large, though. There’s something for everyone. Peppercorns gets crowded at happy hour, but the place is large so it doesn’t feel as overwhelming. During a slower time the waitstaff is happy to let you sit and catch up with friends.

The food is ok, but not great. Whats really bad is service. You have to wait and wait and wait and ask 3 times for the check. Waiters don’t hurry at all.

Great location. Busy bar. Dining room from the 70’s. So is the menu. So is the service. Come on guys, grow up. Even the burgers are mediocre. And the salads are blah.

Peppercorns is always a great place to dine in or take out. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it is all fabulous, however their burgers and the Peppercorns Special are my faves. Burgers are delicious and juicy – I ask for mine medium rare, which is always cooked to perfection. They did change their fries I’ve noticed, but not for the better. They used to have battered fries but now they are plain and tasteless. Boo! It can get crowded here on weekends since the dining rooms aren’t too big, but the wait isn’t ever terribly long. Grab a drink at the bar and you’ll be seated in no time. Service is always fast and friendly, as well. Love Peppercorns!

Service definitely can be improved, they are just not friendly. For lunch, salads are a decent size, and food comes pretty quick. Crowded for happy hour, and no table service unless you order entrees

Once every couple of years, my wife and I go here for dinner. As soon as I walk in I remember why we don’t come here for dinner more often. This is a lunch place that serves dinner. There are always locals at the bar and a lot of families in the restaurant. The menu is mostly burgers and sandwiches. The daily specials are almost always fish. In the back of the menu you can find a couple of steak choices. The food is mediocre to OK. It’s very family friendly and I’m sure a group from the local corporate park would love the place. I don’t think it’s a great spot for a couple to go out for dinner. It feels like an independently owned chain restaurant(e.g.Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday).

Beautiful location. Nice looking, until you walk in to the dining room which is the first downer. Second downer is when you see the menu. Half the menu is bar sandwiches with four, yes for entrees. Bar food at best. Service was average. We won’t return.

I came here for some drinks and food. Food was surprising delicious! The restaurant itself isn’t anything glamorous. It’s just a local little restaurant. I was really pleased with our food. The bartender was raving about the loaded potato skins. When we got them, honestly they were not that great. A little greasy and the cheese was kind of hard. I absolutely loved my chicken sandwich! I believe it was called the CLT? The seasoned mayo is absolutely delicious! Will definitely be returning!

Had chicken fingers. Basically poor quality. Dry no flavor. The food quality here varies. The owner doesn’t care so why should I. Great beer crap food.

The wifey works close by, so we usually come here for lunch. Solid bar food, very solid choice. One of the better places in the vicinity for happy hour. Packed with white collar clientele from the many local well respected companies, like Hertz, Sony, BMW and Mercedes Benz

Perfection. Every time! The deliciously cheesy onion soup was as wonderful as I remembered it, and it’s rare to find a French Dip sandwich where the roast beef is actually served rare!(By the way, the French Dip sandwich is HUGE for one person, so either plan to share or plan to have a delicious lunch the next day!)
